Each spirit has a Ability Link Board that you need to complete. The trick to this is that each spirit has secret paths on the Ability Link Board that are only unlocked if they are the right disposition.
There is a tutorial for it but you can find the Ability Link Board in the Spirits menu. If you are in the Bond menu where you can pet your spirits you can press Y to open the menu and select Ability Link from there.
You can earn this with any spirit but because you get Meow Wow from the beginning we will use that one.
Meow Wow has 4 dispositions it can be. You get one randomly when it is first created. You can see it's disposition in the Change Party menu by highlighting the Meow Wow. Disposition will be on the top right of the stats window.
