How to unlock the A Timeless World achievement in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix - Definitive Guide
-( Story related, cannot be missed )-
Timeless River will be the world you will be able to enter through Disney Castle after completing the first episode of Olympus Coliseum. In it, you will need to pursue the reason behind the thorns appearing under Disney Castle. This will take you into the Cornerstone's room, where after some story, a door to this world will be available.
Spots to look out for:
After pursuing Pete, you'll open four windows in the main hub of the world. Each window has a different condition to completing it and a defeat condition. The main condition is to defeat the Heartless invading, while the defeat might be:
1) Construction Site: All four lines are severed.
2) Scene of Fire: The building takes too much damage from the fire.
3) Lilliput: All of the buildings are destroyed.
4) Living room: All of the furniture is consumed by the black hole.
For the Construction Site, make sure to take advantage of when a line is broken as everyone will be thrown repeatedly into the air. A reaction command near the rope will allow you to spread your attack wide, attacking multiple enemies. There are three main waves of enemies that you will have to focus on, so if you can pace yourself between them, you'll be able to clear them out.
For the Scene of the Fire, save Drive until a car appears and then use that to juggle it into the air. There are, again, three waves to this stage, with the second spawning one car while the third spawns two. After a lot of health has been taken off, the car will enrage and become invulnerable to normal attacks for a short time while driving around, interrupting your attacks. Your main threat will be the fire, but if you can take care of it every now and then while waiting for your partners to dish out some damage, it would be well worth it. You don't want to spend more time on this stage than necessary.
For the Lilliput stage, spam the tower's Stomp Bomb reaction to stall the enemies from attacking. Allow your partners to take a few out here and there. Your main goal is to keep the reaction going as much as possible, as the hammer Heartless will demolish the city rather fast if left to their own devices. If you can, you could try to take out some of the aerial Heartless while the tower is shooting (for me, it was possible to kill one per stomp). Aerial Heartless, then Hammers, then a combination of additional Aerials spawning in once other hammers were killed is the line-up.
For the Living room, all I can suggest is to try and attack the black hole with aerial attacks while taking care of the buzzing, flying Heartless that will spawn. Let Donald/Goofy take care of the Shadows if you can, for the flying ones are the true threat when a majority of them spawn in near the end.
After the windows are completed, head to the Waterway and take care of regular Pete. React to him throwing things at you (five times) to disable him and turn the ship around. If you hop on the hook, you will be able to strike at the cage. After a while, there will be a new reaction to hold on. If you fail to do this in a timely manner, Heartless will appear and the hook will move away. Kill them, then hop back on to maximize your time.
Once the cage is broken, the final battle takes place on the Wharf. Timeless Pete will help you to take down regular Pete, who will shift between the four window stages while performing the same attacks he had from Coliseum. You may want to use your Drive form repeatedly here, if possible, as it is possible to stall the transition and take out a lot of his health if you juggle him in the air.
