The wreck of the ship spawns at random on the map. Find it as quickly as you can, build archers, clear trees and build more archers. You should receive enough income from your archers shooting rabbit and deer. Be sure to search each side of the map during daylight to collect gold from the 2-3 chests that also spawn in random locations. Once your purse is getting full, start putting coin into the boat. It takes roughly 100 coins to finish it and you will need at least 4 archers and 3 builders to move it. It will move towards the opposite side to what the portal is on. It takes a few days to get the ship to the dock so allow as much time as you can. Once it reaches the end you have to use more gold to jump on it yourself and escape. I left towards the end of day 10 and cut it fine but I still didn't really know what I was doing at that point! Due to the enemy only coming from the opposite direction just make sure you have decent defences on that side to cover your escape. Also be sure to utilise the trader each day which you will need to pay a gold coin to reset his journey to collect supplies.

A little rng come to play with this! If enemies spawning from one side of the ship you screwed basically, because they kill your builders.

If this happens best to build as wall on the other side of the ship and have enough archers to stave off any attack whilst making progress on the ship

The first island is a very simple learning environment. You only get attacked from one side and the boat is cheaper to build than on other islands. Once you know which side the dock is on you only need to build tier 1 walls on that side (to send out the knights). Spend the rest of your gold on recruiting archers and building the boat.

My fastest completion time is 8 days leaving with 2 knights, although if you just want to rush the boat without leaving with knights you can leave much quicker than that.

If you struggle with the time limit this might be easier to do by coming back to this island from another island with a full coin purse and extra recruits.
