How to unlock the Malik Unchained achievement in Kingdom Rush Origins - Definitive Guide

In the stage "Blood Quarry" (an expansion level that appears after beating the campaign, woods area, you'll see a hero coming out of the cave, who mines for ore, then leaves again. Above his head you'll see the lightening icon for a few seconds. Use it on the two guards to free him, letting you use him during the level and unlocking this achievement.
