To call the next wave, press the
button when the icon appears at the start of the path.
The icon has a circle around it as a timer. A wave can be called early as long as the icon is still there, in case you need to wait longer.
This is facilitated by unlocking and using a Hero (unlock the first available hero by reaching stage 4: Twin River Pass). Be sure to "select" the hero in the hero tab on the map.
Replay level 3 Pagras, as it has 11 waves, and ALL 10 WAVES MUST BE CALLED EARLY DURING ONE STAGE.

While not mentioned in the achievement description, keep in mind this is within a single level. So to get this achievement, the level must have at least 11 Waves.
Just make sure to call the 10 remaining waves early to pop this achievement.
