After playing the game for a couple of days on my pc ... I noticed the achievement for losing one fight called "Be First Blood." The fights are turn based with you getting a round of attacks with all your forces. I went to the Barbarian fights(1st level). I picked only one fighter. I used an Axeman as it was my weakest at the time. I suspect a Spearman would work as well.

After picking my soldier, I clicked the fight icon/button in the lower right hand corner. The fight started allowing my sole selection. I attacked the first enemy followed by an alternating attack. The computer attacked my sole fighter. I believe I was defeated in two rounds.

If your pc acts funny ... don't be alarmed. I had to back out and back into the game via the windows button in order to allow each move to take place. Not sure if this was due to me only loading one fighter or just same ole w8 game glitching... After the awarding of coin my achievement popped. Upon going back to my map most of my buildings were gone, but I backed completely out and reloaded the game .... everything was fine.

I only mention this in case by some odd reason it was due to one fighter (highly doubtful). In any case.... easy & quick.

*edit* - I can confirm the number of units being only one had nothing to do with the glitching. I had the same issue in another fight. I had the normal number of units, and I did everything as I normally do. I had to follow all the same steps I listed above. So, no worries with that.
