How to unlock the Murder Most Fowl achievement in Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning - Definitive Guide
A good farming spot: fast travel to Eyrie Peak and you'll encounter two groups of three Pteryx on the way to the main road. You can then head north towards Berenike's Camp and find another group. Run this route, rest for a couple days to reset the spawns, then fast travel back to repeat.
more of a sidenote than a solution (this cheevo is pretty self-explanatory)
i only did the main quest line and killed every pteryx in sight, by the end of the last story mission i got ~40.
i grinded the few remaining in the sewers.
also, just sleep for 72 hours and they sould respawn.

To anyone else who has been struggling with this achievement alongside "Kill 50 Scavs", for some reason kills don't count toward the achievement if you "1 shot" them... so be careful if your grinding these out at the end of the game... use weak weapons or unequip one weapon and punch them a couple of times before you use your endgame weapons to finish them off.

Pteryx are bird like creatures that you'll encounter throughout the DLC. There's at least 21 of these enemies during the main quest alone. There are a bunch more of them in the sewers and undersewers. They'll respawn at the Eryie Peak location as well.
People have reported this achievement not popping for them. It's thought that this might be like the "Exterminator" Scav achievement from the Dead Kel DLC, where if you one-shot the enemy, it doesn't register the kill. So make sure you don't use your most powerful abilities/spells on these enemies.
