How to unlock the And Then There Were None achievement in Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning - Definitive Guide
If you're like me and played through the main questline as Finesse/Might you might need to grind this. Here's the quickest and easiest way I found to get this achievement:
1) Visit a Fateweaver and change your spec to Mage. Hopefully you've saved some Mage gear in your stash, though it's not a must.
2) Change difficulty to Easy (NOTE: don't do this until you've completed the game on Hard if you're working on that achievement).
3) Go to the very first town; Gohart.
4) Commit a crime and resist arrest.
5) Stand outside the Pub and lay waste to the never-ending spawning of guards.
The guards were spawning two at a time for me as soon as the first two were killed. I got this achievement in a matter of 10 minutes with this tactic, and I barely had any ability kills from playing through the game normally. You'll one-shot every guard, just use Frost and Lightning magic constantly.
EDIT: I really don't mind if you down-vote my solution, but at least have the decency to specify WHY you do it. If I don't know what's wrong with my solution, I really can't change it.

Same as Shock and Awe, just get the killing blow with a UI mapped ability 500 times. Remember that the UI mapped abilities are the ones activated by pressing down on the right trigger then choosing the ability. One way I am currently working on this achievement was to max out Quake and Aftershock in the Might tree. Once I had those maxed, I would lower enemies health then just line them up and activate the 3 part ability. Another recommendation I would like to add is placing 5 into Storm Bolt under the Sorcery tree then maxing out Conservative Casting since it cuts down on mana consumption by these skills. This also allows you to have another high powered ability for when Quake is on cool down.
Some things that have been pointed out are that you can go back to the starter area once you have leveled up a ways and start to kill the low level mobs if you want to knock out this achievement fast. But in my experience throughout the game, I used the abilities a lot to finish enemies even after I got the achievement so I feel like there is no need to go out of your way. There is also an instance where the Rogue characters don't have many abilities that aren't sustained. What I would recommend doing if you have taken this path is to visit a Fateweaver and specialize into either the Might or Sorcery tree and then travel back to the starting area.

Do you know if the Sorcery skill Summon Faer Gorta counts if it lands the final blow?

Because there is no for sure way to keep count, I don't know if that one counts. I wouldn't rely on it alone, but if someone could confirm or deny this it would help!

This is one of those achievements that is much more manageable to attain throughout the course of the game. If you are playing as a Mage, you should have no problem getting this achievement by the time you complete Kingdoms of Amalur.
If you're like me, however, and are focusing all your points into either Might or Finesse skills, you'll need to be proactive in getting this. When I played, I focused on damaging enemies with my primary weapon right away. Once their health reached the halfway point, I relied on my secondary weapon for less damage (chakrams, faeblades, daggers, etc.). My lightning spell was enough to count as the final kill when the health was nearly drained.
This process becomes much faster later in the game when you are exploring through familiar areas. Boggarts and similar enemies from the first few hours of gameplay can be killed in just one to two bolts of a lightning spell, even if you have not invested anything in your Mage abilities. Do not worry about trying to up your kill count when facing towering foes. However, keep your eyes peeled on their health bars, and when they are near death, simply switch to your lightning bolt. Make this a habit, and the achievement will (eventually) be yours.

I'm guessing there's a time delay for this achievement, possibly glitched. The achievement popped while I was walking around, not killing anyone. When the achievement popped I was close to 3,000 enemies killed. I followed the rules and would get my enemies down to a little bit of health, and than knocked them out with an ability. I did this a lot. I know that more than 500 of those kills were with abilities. Anyway, good luck. Comment with questions.
Earning this trophy will have you perform the killing blow on any enemy with a special ability a whopping 500 times. A special ability is an ability that can be mapped to one of your quick UI slots (accessed by holding down L2 then pressing the corresponding Face button). The game automatically gives everyone a point in the Storm Bolt ability during the tutorial of the game so those not wanting to commit to other abilities can simply spam this one.
Remember that it doesn't matter how you injure enemies, as long as the killing blow is from an ability you're good to go. Also note that sustained abilities do not count towards this trophy.
While this will take quite a bit of time to achieve, it can be made easier by returning to lower level areas after your character is stronger, this way abilities will one hit kill enemies and you can grind it out pretty quick. This trophy features the same type of challenge as the "Shock and Awe" trophy.

The Shock and Awe trophy in Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning worth 24 pointsKilled 100 enemies with abilities.
Abilities are circle shaped in the ability tree. These use mana when used and can be mapped to your UI. Pick 4 abilities to your liking and press to map them to one of the 4 face buttons (, , or ). Simply keep using abilities to kill enemies, by holding and pressing the corresponding face button. One of the easier and faster way to gain this trophy is by playing a Sorcery (based) Destiny (much mana and fast mana regen and heavy damage abilities).
Abilities are the attacks you will map to your UI, and are used by holding and selecting one of the face buttons. Traps count toward this achievement; however, sustained skills (such as Envenomed Edge or Blade Honing from the Finesse tree) and buffs (such as Relentless Assault from the Might tree) do not! It has to be classed as an "active" skill, as well as being the skill itself that kills the enemy.
If you don't use too many abilities, simply return to the starting area toward the end of the game and one-shot a bunch of low-level enemies with Storm Bolt from the Sorcery tree. You can also do the Arena in the House of Valor (DLC) for quick kills.

If you haven't been knocked out by the end of the game, a very good way to quickly farm enemies with the Storm Bolt ability, pumped up to the last level. Go to the first locations where the enemies have a low level and hit with this ability, everyone will be wiped out.

I played as a robber, and throughout the entire game, I simply tried to finish off the mobs, first with traps pumped up to just one level, and when the trophy for traps fell, I continued to finish off the mobs with the magic of electricity, pumped up to 4 levels. I don’t recommend leaving it for last, 500 kilos - is it a joke to then run around and sadly exterminate mobiers...

By the time I received platinum, the statistics showed about 1,500 killed enemies. Those. 30% of all kills must be done using abilities to avoid Farming after completing all quests.

It should be noted that:
You need a lot of mana and you may have to specially upgrade to the required hero format to get this trophy.
You can get it either in the first zones after a good build-up (when enemies die with 1 hit), or in the Arena from House of Valor (DLC).
- killing a thief with traps is considered
- active boosts and buffs of the warrior and thief do not count (Envenomed Edge, Blade Honing from Finesse and Relentless Assault from Might)
