How to unlock the Exterminator achievement in Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning - Definitive Guide
Through story and quest progression, you should amass 20 or more kills at least. I found the best way to farm these kills after the story is to visit the following 3 Fastings :-
Cliffbreak
Undersea
Souldeep
A run between these 3 will get you around 15 kills at least and once you've cleared the third dungeon of skavs, they will have respawned at the first location.

I also found that if you enter Flooded Cavern from the cape side, you will find around 6 or so in the first encounter. Not sure how long it takes for those ones to respawn though.

Thanks. Got it eventually. They really should put in a counter for this kind of achievement. I would have sworn I was at about 70.

Scavs look similar to Niskaru, but also have a projectile acid they spit at you. You won't have 50 just by completing the main quest, so once you're done with that you can get about a dozen kills from just killing the ones in Undersea Fasting, Cliffbreak Fasting and Souldeep Fasting, then sleep at Gravehal Keep for 48 hours to respawn them and repeat until it unlocks.
Note: If you kill a Scav with one hit (such as with a powerful Meteor spell), the kill for some reason will not count. Use normal weapon attacks to be safe.
Scavs are pretty much the same as Niskarus. They shouldn’t be too difficult, but be careful when there is more than 1. Keep this trophy as last, since you’ll probably kill quite a few before obtaining all the other trophies. Throughout the Main quest line you should be able to get about 13 kills. If you haven’t killed 50 before having obtained all the other trophies, you can always revisit Flooded Cavern, Cliffbreak Fasting, Undersea Fasting and Souldeep Fasting and kill the Scavs there. Once you’ve killed them all, go find yourself a bed and sleep a few days to make them respawn.
Glitch warning: It seems that if you kill Scavs in 1 hit, they won't register as a kill. Make sure you hit them more then once before killing them.

Having completed the addition, 50 pieces are not collected
so let's go to the house and sleep in our crib for 24 hours
and go back to the dungeons to kill the bastards for the second round

After completing the main storyline, you will have approximately 13 killed Scavs on your account.
Best places to farm :
A small glitch, if you kill Scavs with 1 hit, there is a considerable chance that this kill may not be protected. It's better to kill with a few hits.

It is most convenient to fill in Cliffbreak (Rocky Mire). There, 5 of them sleep every 24 hours. And it’s not far to run to them in a straight line. Get some sleep and move on! But start collecting after the quest with painting pictures in Gravehole becomes available (by the way, pictures give permanent bonuses). The artist will give you a task to kill monsters. Scavengers are often encountered. So it will be possible to combine.
