How to unlock the Jack of All Trades achievement in Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning - Definitive Guide

The minimum talent requirements to unlock this is:
2 Might 2 Finesse 2 Sorcery

This will allow you to unlock Seeker - Tier 1 Destiny under Might/Fin./Sorc.

Once you have finalized your selections (skill, talents, destiny) the achievement will unlock. You do not have to select/use the destiny card, just unlock it.

As noted by WestsideSxE:
If you meet the requirements* for 'Some of this, Some of that' at the same time you meet them for JoAT then it will also unlock upon finalizing your selections.
*Requirements being: you need 6 points invested 2 different talent trees.

The minimum number of points you need for this to unlock is 6 split evenly between the 3 talents (Might, Finesse and Sorcery) so:
2 Might 2 Finesse 2 Sorcery

Once you have completed all your skill points, talent points, etc and finished the leveling up process, this trophy should unlock.

It is also possible to unlock the "Some Of This, Some Of That" trophy at the same time, assuming you have a minimum of 6 points in 2 different tracks. Also note that you do not need to select the Destiny, just having it unlocked as an option nets the trophy.

You will unlock destiny cards for the first time after meeting the Fateweaver on the way to Gohart. As you level you will be given points to spend as you see fit in the three trees: finesse, sorcery and might. The more points you put into each tree, the higher the tiered destiny cards you will unlock. There are single class, dual class, and triple class specializations. Single revolves around putting points in just one tree, dual are a choice of two, and triple is of course all three. The requirements for each card can be found in the parentheses at the top. You must have that many points in that allotted tree to use that specific destiny card. By level 2 you can have the Jack of All Trades destinies (putting one point in each finesse, might and sorcery), by level 5 you can have the dual class card, and by level 37 you will have the top tier card if you put all the rest of your points into only one tree - I believe one more level would net you what you need for top tier if you did the dual or tri-spec.

The first Jack of All Trades destiny unlocks at Tier 2, which requires 2 points in all 3 the ability trees.
The soonest you can unlock one of these is at level 1.
  • Might-Finesse-Sorcery: ‘Seeker’ - 2 Might/Finesse/Sorcery.

If you’re playing as a different destiny class, make a new save file of your current character. Go see a Fate Weaver, reset your destiny and reassign your ability points. Once you’ve obtained the trophy, reload your save.

After each level gained and the distribution of talent points, you are asked to choose a fate card. The cards have bonuses for one class, for two classes out of three, and for all three classes. To receive the trophy, you need to choose any card for all three classes. The simplest such card requires 2 points in each talent tree. At the first level you receive, you can pump +1 into each branch, the map will become available. Equip it and the trophy is yours.
