This achievement is very easily missable. You must be nice to Captain Brattigan in order to get this achievement. When you first meet her, don't do like I did and tell her she's an idiot (even though she kinda is) or when you are newly ship-wrecked, don't tell her she killed her crew. Doing these things will mean you're in for an extra 45 minutes (at least! That's how long it took me to run through the main storyline with as little fighting as possible.) of play to get this one.
After finishing the main quest, you'll appear on the docks. At this time you may immediately speak with Captain Brattigan for your achievement.

ugh! I missed it! How can I do it again? Do I have to go through the entire game?? or can I delete / re-install the DLC? So long..........

Hopefully you have a save before you first talk to Brattigan, otherwise you'll have to start a new game.

Worhammers guide is just fine for this achievement, I'm just here to warn you that your game can glitch on you at the end if you don't be careful.

After you defeat The Baronette you will have to choose a companion (you should choose Brattigan for achievement) and then jump down a hole to find Dead Kel. Save before you jump down. Now you can jump down, if you notice your companion isn't following you load back to that previous save until she does. If you don't, as soon as you get to the end of the cave she will stay at a certain point and when you reach the checkpoint rocks will fall between you making it impossible to reach her. (She should be with you)

Just got this achievement and I did not choose Brattigan as my companion for the mission, I chose some other random. Achievement was unlocked as soon as I spoke to her after the mission and she gave me "The Harpy" :-)

Do NOT take Capt Brattigan with you to fight Dead Kel. Take the other woman with you, I can't remember her name. Save just before jumping down the hole. Save before triggering the final fight and after defeating Dead Kel make sure she runs IN FRONT of you and that she is first out to the beach.
The game has a glitch that is a nightmare for those that get stuck with it because the Rast spawns behind you far enough that she gets buried at the end and you loose her forever.
As long as you have been nice to the good captain you will be able to talk to her again at the dock and get the chance to "woo her with vigor".

Make sure that you always respond with the nice options even if talking to her not as part of the mission. This includes the first time you speak to her at the docks in Rathir. After talking to her in Cape Solace after completing the main story, you will get this.
Just to note, it doesn't matter the gender of your character, difficulty of the game, nor if you choose her to come along with you late in the main story. If you miss it, you have to replay the entire main story line over again. If you didn't have a previous save, you will have to start a new character, get them to level 10, get to Rathir and play the main Dead Kel story over again which takes about 1.5-2 hours if you do nothing else.

When speaking with Rast Brattigan during the main quest, be sure to always choose the "nice" options (top right on the dialogue wheel). Once you have defeated Dead Kel in the main quest and returned to Cape Solace, speak with Rast to unlock the achievement. You can speak with her at any time, so don't fret if you forget for a while after finishing the main quest.
If the achievement does not unlock upon speaking with her, you've not been nice and she won't want to woo you - you'll have to get this on another save file/character.

Every time you talk to Rast Brattigan (the girl that brings you to Gallows End) and you have the option to choose dialogue, choose the upper right option. You’ll need to be nice to her throughout the whole main quest line. The trophy unlocks after talking to her one last time after the completion of the last main quest ‘The Exiles’. She will be waiting in Cape Sollace.
