Just wanted to say I have all the updates to date and had no problems getting this. I just made certain I did not one hit any of them.

I counted as I killed the Pteryx and without one hit killing anything I had to kill ninety three of them before the achievement popped.

I have the on demand version and made the mistake of downloading this DLC before the legend of dead kel. I suffered from the "I regret nothing" bug and redownloaded both when I discovered that. Point is this acheivement took me 74 kills but I killed a few pteryx before fixing the bug.

I am not sure whether I downloaded this DLC first or The Legend of Dead Kel, but I got this no problem. I downloaded them both at the same time before I even played the game. Cannot remember which one either. At least for me there were way more than enough. I did not count but want to say it took right around fifty (50). I actually found a good majority of mine in the sewers. If you go into caves and stuff you will find several groups in every one. +1

I've killed over 200 of these damn things and still no achievement. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the game and dlc, deleting the cache, reloading old saves, even starting the game over, and still nothing!

I have the digital version. Didn't unlock for me, so I followed the directions and reinstalled the dlc. Unlocked at exactly 50 kills after. I had no updates when I first started the game, nor when I reinstalled the dlc.

I had the same issue with unlocking this as the 'I Regret Nothing' achievement with BC on XB1. Dusted off the X360, created a new character for the Idylla jump then did the 50 kills and 'Murder Most Fowl' unlocked. Legend of Dead Kel was installed before Naros and all updates were current.

Feels like I killed closer to 100 on xbox one and then on same save killed closer to 100 on x360 but then I went for 1 place I hadnt visited yet, it unlocked as soon as I killed just 1 in there. Might have been 50th kill I got on x360 but felt like I killed way more. Anyway didnt have to create new save.

Through thorough exploration you will get this through the course of the story. I did all the sidequests I could and in doing so encountered enough for the achievement to pop. After fully exploring the main map of teeh on naros, the sewers, the under sewers and Eyrie Peak. The acheivement popped. If you do the same you'll be there or there abouts by this time.

Unlike the exterminator achievement on the previous DLC. There is NO NEED TO FARM. You will get this through playing through the Story/Side Quests.

After finishing the main quest I only had 33. I didn't skip any on the way. I'm sure if you did all the sidequests too you'd have 50, but not just from doing the main quest.

For those who are having trouble getting both Murder Most Fowl and I Regret Nothing on Xbox One BC, here is how I did it.

- Uninstall the main game and all the dlcs.
- Reinstall the main game first.
- ONLY reinstall Teeth of Naros dlc.
- Start a new character on casual.
- run to the location where the dlc starts.
- For I Regret Nothing just go through the first main dlc storyline to get into Idylla. When you see the big hole in the middle of the city just jump down and the achievo will pop.
- For Murder Most Fowl just follow Crazy Monk NL's guide. When you kill up to 50 Pteryx the achievo should be yours.

I unlocked this on Xbox One, only installing Teeth of Naros, following the advice in other solutions.

Progress through the DLC until you need to collect Ptyrex veins in the main quest line.

After collecting the veins and giving them to your companion, fast travel to your Cache/home and rest for 24 hours two times (I used Canneroc). This allows the birds to respawn. I fast traveled to Eyrie peak and went inside to kill the three Ptyrex and then went back outside to kill the two groups of three, for 9 birds in about 4 minutes.

Rinse and repeat to collect this achievement. I previously tried reloading saves and killing the same group over and over, but that did not work. I popped this achievement right on 50 birds with this method.

Pteryx are bird like creatures that you'll encounter throughout the DLC. There's at least 21 of these enemies during the main quest alone. There are a bunch more of them in the sewers and undersewers. They'll respawn at the Eryie Peak location as well.

People have reported this achievement not popping for them. It's thought that this might be like the "Exterminator" Scav achievement from the Dead Kel DLC, where if you one-shot the enemy, it doesn't register the kill. So make sure you don't use your most powerful abilities/spells on these enemies.

Giant chickens. That’s what they are. They don’t have the same courage as one though. Just like with Niskarus and Scavs, these creatures are pretty easy to deal with, however, they can become quite though when in a group. And you’ll always encounter them in a group.

Playing through the Main quest line will get you quite some kills, but not enough. Obtain the other trophies first and kill each Pteryx you come across. If you haven’t killed 50 by then, you can always go back to the Idylla Sewers, Undersewers or the area between Pteryx Eyries and Eryie Peak dungeon. The Pteryx Eyries area would be the easiest, since you can easily fast travel back and forth. Once you’ve killed all of them, find yourself a bed and rest for a few days to make them respawn.

When completing story missions in the Fangs of Naros, you will not kill 50 Pteryxes. After beating the game, I recommend resetting your skills and maxing out your detection, then enemies and their names will be visible on the map. Well, after finishing off trophies with stones of knowledge and persuasion, he periodically teleports to the Fangs of Naros and farms birds.
