How to unlock the Reckoning Rampage achievement in Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning - Definitive Guide

I found this achievement relatively simple to do, the trick is to find a large enough group packed together. For this I headed north out of Gorhart while on the quest called "The Commendation", acquired from a guy in the Gorhart Inn. There are a few mobs of 3-4 enemies north of town, but as you head deeper into the forest larger mobs start to appear.

Simply get a group of 5 of more enemies together (I had a group of 7 against Osgar and his Red Legion bandits), go into Reckoning mode and unleash the fury. Once you've knocked all of then down and their health away simply press A near the closest enemy to finish the group off and net the achievement.

Just another little addition. Opponents must be the same type.
That is, only wolves, only guards or only brownies.

another way to get this achievement is to pick a fight with a random guard in the town. when he confronts you, you will be given the option to pay the fine, go to jail or resist arrest. just pick the last one & run around until you get a good number of guard attacking you. go into Reckoning mode, knock down enough of them, then go up to a downed one, hit A & the achievement will unlock after hitting the onscreen button to finish them off.

forgot to add, if you don't want a huge fine, save before doing this

If you wish to attempt this the more "evil" way, simply attack a guard in any town (with a full Fate meter assuming you are a lower level character. And don't forget to turn on hostility by pressing Up on the D-Pad). When the guard confronts you select the "Resist Arrest" option. From here you can scurry around town while some more guards and other fighter characters in the area come after you. Once you have more than 5, activate Reckoning mode and net the trophy in this method. Be prepared to reload or pay a hefty fine afterwards.

A great place to Fateshift 5 enemies is immediately after you receive the Codex of Destiny from the Theater of Fate during the main story quest at Dellach (make sure you have enough Fate saved in advance). After the short cutscene, you will be attacked from the same direction by a group of enemies that are all tightly grouped together. Pull and hold both triggers, then go to work killing enemies. After knocking out 5 or more enemies (there are about 8 in total), approach one of the downed enemies and press A. Easy peasy.

You can perform a fateshift kill in the so called ‘Reckoning mode’. To activate Reckoning mode, hold down :l1: and :r1:. Before you can do so however, you need enough Fate. You gain fate by simply defeating enemies, or by drinking a Fate potion. The bar between your health and mana is your Fate bar. Once completely filled, you can activate Reckoning mode.

In Reckoning mode, your weapon will become ‘Fate touched’. Basically making it stronger. Look for a group of 5 enemies, or more. Activate Reckoning mode and start attacking your foes. Don’t worry, you can’t actually kill them with attacks in Reckoning mode, so just keep attacking. Once 5 or more enemies are downed (when they’re downed, a :cross: will appear above their heads when standing close), walk up to one of the enemies and press :cross: to activate the Fateshift kill. This will instantly kill all the downed enemies.

The Fateshift ability is unlocked when you meet the Fateweaver on the path towards Gorhart after leaving the tutorial area, the Well of Souls. As you kill enemies, you will gain Fate Essence to use towards Reckoning Mode. You can activate this by holding and simultaneously when the purple bar (the middle one) is full. Simply wait to use your Reckoning until five or more enemies are around, knock them all out so they have over their heads and the achievement will unlock once you've performed the Reckoning.

Semi-story trophy. "Faithshift" is the Reckoning mode. It can be turned on when the purple bar is full (it accumulates for killing enemies). After being reborn, one of the first quests in the main storyline will be going to Dellach. This is the first dungeon in the "into the light" quest. There are a lot of kobolds in this dungeon, of which there will be more than 5. The tactics are simple: we run up to the enemies and immediately turn on reckoning (it takes a few seconds to activate it, during which time you can be hit and the activation can be interrupted). Once activated, your weapon begins to glow bluish and time slows down. You need to kill 5 enemies (when an enemy kneels, he is killed in reckoning mode) and finish off the last one.
