How to unlock the Balue's Tears achievement in Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series - Definitive Guide

To unlock the Extra Vision level you need to save all 72 phantomilians across all the levels. These are the bubbles you come across with figures popping out when you break them. It will unlock with
KLONOA Phantasy Reverie SeriesHero of PhantomileThe Hero of Phantomile achievement in KLONOA Phantasy Reverie Series worth 142 pointsFree all residents in Phantomile

With the level unlocked you just need to finish it to unlock the achievement. The level can be hard as nothing in the main story is like this. But can be done if you just keep going at it.

A huge tip if you play on Normal, which I noticed, is that if you run out of extra lives and you had a lot of them going in to this, do not click Continue, just quit. If you continue you will go back to world select with only 3 extra lives

I saved all the Phantomillians but the level didn't unlock. Do you need to beat the final boss first?

@DigitalAtlas Yes, upon defeating the game and viewing the credits you need to continue your game. The game will notify you that it is unlocked upon loading

Easy + infinite lives + long bullet. Don't make it harder than it needs to be. Did it in just over 12 minutes, just keep at it 🧡🌷

Where is it? Defeated the boss and got all my collectibles. Is it in Klonoa 1 or 2?

This trophy is unlocked in Klonoa: Door to Phantomile.

Klonoa's Grand Gale Strategy ~Balue's Tower~ is the extra vision of the first game that is unlocked upon saving all seventy-two residents across all five regions across the game's twelve normal levels. This level is a time trial with courses that put Klonoa's skills to the test inside the tower built by Balue after the events of the game story.

The courses inside this tower are as follows, with each one having its own sets of obstacles for Klonoa to endure as he makes it to the top of the tower.

Course 1
This course is fairly simple. Use your wind ring to grab the Flying Moo at the bottom and then double jump before grabbing the next one and jumping off of it to reach the platform with three normal Moos. You should also grab the Klonoa coins to build up your extra lives provided that you are playing this on Normal difficulty.

Once you reach the platform above the two Flying Moos, you can simply grab the first of the three normal Moos walking back and forth, and then double jump to reach a platform that has two Spikers orbiting around it. Keep jumping to avoid them until a Flying Moo appears so you can jump off of it to reach the next platform.

Afterwards, you will need to time your jumps correctly on the next few Flying Moos you will encounter as you grab and perform a double jump off of them, but be sure to flutter (hold Cross while jumping) after grabbing and jumping off of the second one to reach the end of the first course.

Intermission
This one is very self-explanatory, you will need to perform multiple double jumps back and forth across all six Flying Moos before advancing to the second course. Be sure to hit the clock that appears behind Klonoa to make a checkpoint before advancing through this one.

Course 2
Beginning with this course, Lava will now become a standard part of this tower. Remember to hit the clock for a checkpoint and collect any Klonoa coins for extra lives. The key to this one is to perform a double jump off of each of the Flying Moos you come across as you progress through this course. It should also be noted that they will respawn as either a Teepa or a Teton (the latter is for those where there are gems above where the Flying Moo was previously at), but it should still be the same nonetheless. Be sure to flutter once you get to the Teton at the end of the first half of this course.

Once you get to the upper level, be sure to hit the clock for a checkpoint, and once you see a normal Moo appear where the clock previously was, be sure to grab it and repeat the same process you did on the lower level of this course until you make it to the exit. In both halves, you need to steer clear of the lava as it will instantly kill Klonoa as soon as he touches it.

Intermission
This one is also simple. Be sure to keep double jumping with every Flying Moo you grab until you get to the first Teton (remember to flutter before you grab it too). As with the first intermission, be sure to hit the clock for a checkpoint.

Course 3
This course is where things start to get tricky. The key to completing it is to time your double jumps carefully and remember to flutter when needed.

As per usual grab the Flying Moos and double jump off of them until you reach the first Teton that you see (be sure to flutter before grabbing it). Once the Teton explodes, flutter until you grab (and then double jump off of) the Flying Moo next to you. Continue to do this until you reach the second Teton in this course and move right to go to the exit.

Intermission
This one is easy, as you will need to grab each Teton to fly upwards until they explode before you grab the next one. Remember to flutter when they explode so they (and Klonoa) won't descend whenever you grab one. As usual, remember to hit the clock for a checkpoint as soon as you enter this one.

Course 4
The fourth and final course is the hardest of all, as this will really put your skills to the test.

When you start this course, you will need to grab the Flying Moos that you see to defeat the Spindles below in order to advance further.

Once you defeat them, this is where your next big test really begins, as you will need to get past the Spiker that's next to the Teton you need to grab, which can be a very daunting task at first as the latter will explode once it makes contact with the former, but with enough practice, as well as how you time your jump height and grab, this will become a breeze as it will go under the Spiker and you can advance to the next half of this course.

Once you finally get to the next area, be sure to hit the clock for a checkpoint and grab the Flying Moos to double jump off of them like you usually would until you reach the Teton at the top below the lava pits that have Balue's face on it. Fluttering is key to this half of the course, as you will need to do so by the time you get to the top of it.

The final test in this course will involve Klonoa double jumping and reaching the moving platforms as he times his grabs and double jumps to reach them. In the event that Klonoa does not have the appropriate distance to reach whichever moving platform he needs to reach, you can grab a nearby Flying Moo and double jump off of it before fluttering to reach the platform. Repeat this process over and over until you finally make it to the top and complete Balue's endurance test in his tower, where you meet Lephise after she rejects Balue's love for her.

You can also use Support Mode to have a second player help you out with the Support Jump in the event that you're having trouble doing this level on your own, but be sure to use it wisely since there is a cooldown whenever the aforementioned mechanic is used. (Details on Support Mode can be found in the Roadmap)

Needless to say, this trophy will be unlocked once Klonoa and Hewpoe meet with Lephise for the first time.
