How to unlock the Dungeon Crawler kind of person achievement in Knights of Pen and Paper +1 Deluxier Edition - Definitive Guide

The achievement is both misleading... and slightly daunting, given the size of the game and the total of 3 optional dungeons with 2 you are required to visit.

A dungeon is "clear" when its boss is slain and you accept the message asking if you'd like to leave.

"Castle Sewers" , the level 12 dungeon just north-east of the frequently visited level 7 "Sunset Castle" is by far the easiest of the games delving locations, simply revisit it after the main story as your party will be vastly overpowered.
Depending on your luck finding the key to the boss battle, this achievement should take around 45 min to an hour, however...

I'd like to, at this point in the guide, give a shout out to Carrot Cake Kid, whose comment to equip 15 luck rings for roughly 6k gold, thus raising your luck above the value that can trigger traps, makes the process much faster, so a big thanks for the helpful tip dude n_n

Two final tips worth noting;
RETREATING from a dungeon fight puts you outside the dungeon and resets your progress.
And;
EACH room/battle/event in a dungeon progresses time by one day. This makes this achievement impossible to obtain DURING a 464 or less day run.

Happy hunting (>*_*)>

I ran into a dragon as well. Considering the achievement description, it's probably somewhere in the script that at least 1 dragon encounter is guaranteed on your way to 50 dungeon clears.

You can equip 15 luck amulets from the store and you’ll roll at least a 16 each move avoiding all random fights. This can speed up your progress significantly. This will cost almost 6000 gold but if you’re swimming in it you may find it worth the saved time.

When you say "resets your progress" did you mean it stops your achievements from progressing until you start over again? Because I'm stuck at 74% for this achievement right now...

No, just the progress of the dungeon, so it resets the floors essentially.

I have a question... what does the acheivement actually require you to do?

What I’m doing is i go from Goblin’s Hideout ( Cave level 12 ) to Castle Severs ( Dungeon level 12 )

Mine the Grindstone in the Cave then go to the Dungeon to clear it then go back to the Cave and repeat.

This way it’s a less boring and you can upgrade the Blacksmith.

Like the above, I had a dragon spawn around day 770. Only the one out of 50 visits though.

As no one seems to have said it clearly, this achievement is for clearing 50 dungeons. Dungeons count as any of the locations on the map marked with a black flag. The easiest of these is the Castle Sewers, located in the center of the map. It's not worth taking this on until you are towards the end of the game, or even in the post game, as otherwise it will be more of a grind than it already is.

Due to the low level of the enemies compared to your hopefully high level end game characters, area attacks combined with normal attacks are the best method as you save mana for the boss fight at the end. Once you have found the key for the boss room, you don't need to do anything else in the dungeon other than making your way to the boss room. Once the boss is defeated, you'll be returned to Sunset Castle. Rest up, sell anything equipment wise you're not using, keep your potions, and dive back in to the dungeon.
