How to unlock the Crafting +5 achievement in Knights of Pen & Paper 2 Deluxiest Edition - Definitive Guide

For this achievement you need to enchant an item to be +5. This is as simple as combining a Enchanting Scroll +5 with any white background weapon or armor. You can craft in a couple cities (Big Town being the first area you can do this). However, I didn't see +5 scrolls in the shop until the quest Power of the Montage. SlackerINFERNO commented it showed up for him at level 31.

Anyway once they show up in the shop drop the 500 gold for the scroll and then combine it with any weapon or armor. I know for a fact it doesn't work on unique items (blue background), TheOnlyMatto commented it doesn't work on green items either, so it seems it needs to be a white background item.

Hero of Night commented he got a bug where he couldn't put an item in the top box, and he had to completely quit the game to fix it.

For some reason my game appears to be bugging. I am unable to add any equipment to the top area to be crafted at all. The fix to this is to completely quit out of the game and reload.

green background items did not work for me but white did.

It unlocks when you hit lvl 31

For this you will need a regular weapon/armor (not with blue or green background) and a +5 spell. The +5 spell appears only at the end of the main storyline, so be patient. Once you get to purchase them in a town, go to the cauldron icon and place both parts with the button. Craft ( + 5 gold coins) and you will get it.
