For this achievement you need to buy 5 Game Room items. Unlike the first game you cannot buy furniture and such while playing the game. To do so, you'll need to save and exit your current game and select the "Game Room" option in the main menu. Here you'll find a ton of stuff to buy. I have more gold than I know what to do with and I'm not even finished with the game, so you won't have to do any grinding to buy 5 items.

The Game Room is accessed through the main menu (press 
if you are in a game to return to it). Go into the Game Room and pick whichever 5 pieces you want to buy. I selected 5 different pieces to gain extra advantages on the game.
