You will unlock energy drinks as you gain experience for playing, which will increase your Street Rank. When you hit certain levels in Street Rank, you will unlock more energy drinks. You use energy drinks by going into your inventory between matches, or while looking at your Street Rank on the main menu with the right thumb stick. When you do this, you will need to hold the A button to use the wanted energy drink. When it is in use, you will see the countdown timer on the left of the screen above the used drink. You should just need to do it five times, but it is slightly buggy right now. I had to use 6 before it unlocked for me.

This helped me out, I drank 5 in 1 session and the achievement popped. This is exactly what I did, I launched the game and drank my first drink which was potato punch from the hideout, then I played for 4 hours and at each hour I drank a different drink from the game lobby menu, my 2nd drink was ulti-berry, 3rd was coconut crash, 4th was dizzy fizzy, 5th was grenade-ade and it popped.
Also I'm not sure if this matters but the day before, I made all the cosmetics I was wearing were the common default ones and also I had unlocked a potato punch drink from the street pass and I pretended to drink it 5 times by holding a and then letting go not doing it all the way and then just didn't drink it. Until the next day where I drank it as my first drink in the hideout and then played in 1 session to drink the other 4 from the lobby menu (doubt this really matters, but thought I would include it anyway)

This achievement is actually a little misleading with how it's worded. For this achievement you actually have to use 1 of each type of energy drink in the game, which of course there's 5 of

First of you have have to drink 5 different energy drinks. Not 5 of the same brand.
Now thats out the way, this was a glitched trophy for alot of people. I had drank maybe 100 energy drinks before the recent update and couldn't get this trophy.
After this update I drank 5 different energy drinks again and it unlocked no problem. Although some people will still run into some issues with the glitch. It is fixed for the majority of gamers right now.
If you've been trying to get this and failing, then there is no better time to jump into the game and unlock this.
If you need more energy drinks log in everyday at 9pm GMT. This will net you experience for energy drinks unlocks. Also on some special days they will give you energy drinks for logging in.

The trophy is glitchy!
After drinking 5 energy drinks, they didn’t give me the trophy, and after 20, I stopped counting which ones would give me the trophy. In the end, it felt like the trophy fell to me somewhere around 30-40.
So if it falls to you on the fifth, then you are lucky!
