How to unlock the Carl the Explorer achievement in Kona - Definitive Guide

Below the screenshots show all locations and also wild campfires, you do not have to light the campfire, merely discover it. Lighting it does help as it creates an extra save point.

I'm still missing one house even though I've gotten every one off these maps. Not sure if this achievement is bugged or not.

Initially had the same issue as Hyperglide with this achievement, but it ended up popping about an hour or two later for me.

Yep, just wait a little bit and it will pop... About 10 or 15 minutes for me.

This is much easier than it sounds. The majority of the houses and cabins will be marked on Carl's map, and there are only a few you will need to find on your own (and like campfires, they appear on the map when you are nearby). Note that although Hamilton's cabin is marked on the map, you do not have to (nor will you) actually visit it. See the map posted in the Introduction to help out.
