To unlock this achievement, you must complete your journal. You fill in the journal by collecting documents, examining certain items, and taking pictures.

The TA walkthrough provides great detail on what you need to pick up and the pictures you need to take. However, even after following that, my journal was incomplete and seeing how the pages should look didn't help me figure out what I missed or which parts would only be completed after the "point of no return." This solution will provide that information.

First, when you're about to advance to The Sanctuary at the end of the game, check the following:
* You should already have unlocked the Reader achievement.
* Your achievement tracker progress for this achievement should be 94%.
* The tracker progress for the Paparazzi achievement should be 93% (14/15).
* The only sections of the journal that won't be filled out yet are:
*** A Cold Mystery 4/4 - the bottom third of the left page, all 3 parts on the right page
*** Hamilton's Murder 3/3 - the second part on the right page

This walkthrough provides a "Journal Entries by Section" breakdown (about 70% of the way down the page) that you can use to correlate your incomplete journal sections to the exact documents, pictures, and events required to complete them.

Finally, a reminder that when you pick up a document, make sure to flip through all pages using . This may seem obvious, but I didn't do this on some key items. For example, I missed the back of the picture from the glove box after the car crash and the additional pages of the medical records in the doctor's office.

If you're missing journal entries related to a document you've picked up, you can re-examine it without having to go back to where you found it. Press , move down to Documents, then select the appropriate document and use to go through additional pages.

In your journal there are 3 pages allocated to Hamilton's murder.

You need to have no red question marks before you reach the sanctuary because you can't turn back once you trigger the end sequence.


The only one that is supposed to be not filled by the time you reach this point is on the bottom of the third page, this one isn't missable.

Ask if you are missing any and I'm sure someone will help out.

I missed the bottom of the right page, it's in the bin near the garage that the wolves are hanging around.




I missed the middle of the left page, it's painted on the side of Lamothe's house.

Here will be many videos of the complete game. First video contains the completed journal. This will be a guide of ALL journal entries and photos needed.

I will try to explain as much as possible here. I also will periodically show the progress of the journal at certain points. The best tip I can give while watching, is to notice the top right, where it will say "new journal entry" and you will also hear a sound when I get a piece of the journal.

***note*** I did miss flipping over the photo from the crashed car at the beginning, and the paper next to the safe at lachances. I do note these in the videos.
