How to unlock the Paws of Power achievement in Kung Fu Panda 2 - Definitive Guide

If you are having trouble getting gold on the hard levels then just pump your trigger hand over and over like a machine gun and dont worry about combos just keep firing.. and do duck when being shot at.

There are only two target challenges available, both have easy, medium and hard. You will need gold in all difficulties on both challenges for this achievement

The snowball fight isn't too bad, on all difficulties you can pretty much just fire as much as you can without worrying about combos etc. when the wolf appears on the right side always prioritise hitting him before he goes away

The other challenge is, in my opinion, much harder and the hardest one in the game on the hard difficulty. A couple of things to mention on this challenge:
  • If they hit you with a dart you lose time, it's quite a lot so always duck these
  • The guys that pick the statues up and throw them at you make the shooters stand still, it also stops the timer for a few seconds allowing you to replace the statue
  • Always put the statues back, they give 500 points each at the end
For the bamboo forest hard gold you need 35000 points, I eventually got this by rapid firing my shooting hand and getting lucky with combos.
My rapid fire technique was almost like I was hitting a speed ball in boxing with just my right hand, so elbow out and rotating my fist in a circle toward the Kinect. Not super fast, maybe 2 rotations per second, and this seemed to consistently throw balls at a decent rate

Try and hit everything, there is a lot on screen on hard so it's not easy to keep track of who is set to fire next etc., if you let a wolf through that will throw a statue at you this can sometimes be a good thing as detailed above they will stop firing as you defend and give you time to replace the statue. If you are quick you can get a couple of shots off at the shooters before then start up again
The shooters will then (most of the time) all shoot at once so you can duck all the projectiles at the same time.

Eventually the statue stealers will not spawn anymore and you can try and concentrate on hitting the shooters, on hard it seems to want to have 4 in play at all times so when you take one out another will spawn in. This is the time when you want to try and hit them before they shoot so you don't waste time ducking and hopefully get lucky with combos.

Normal difficulty is also 35000 points, so I found that you really need the combos because less enemies will spawn.
However they only seem to have 2 shooters spawning at a time, and once they spawn they go to the same two places each time. So you can hit the one on the right as the one on the left is getting into position, then target the spot on the left and hit them while the guy on the right is spawning and walking to his spot.
If you allow them to shoot they will move but you can get into a good rhythm and pick them off as the stop

Like the Rickshaw, you must achieve gold on all three difficulties on two seperate target challenges. The bonus points, which is what basically aids you in achieving each medal, are achieved when you prevent the wolves without weapons from throwing the crocodile statues at you. Shoot them before they throw the statue and you should get the 1000+ and a bunch of Iron, Steel or Gold thrown at you. Note also to dodge as many red... arrows or whatever they are as they significantly decrease your time. even if you are being barraged with the fire, it's worth dodging.

There are two ways to get golds the first one is to make sure you hit all enemies without missing to get your combo up, but it is probably easier (but more tiring) to just throw like mad and hit as many enemies as you can without worrying about your multiplier.
