Once I finished the story mode and all of the combat challenges that have Komodos (there is three of them I think) I was at 61 so I just replayed one of the challenges again
If you want to grind this out I'd suggest going to the combat challenge in the desert, bottom right, and select the Hard challenge. It has 5 Komodos

This will happen in the course of normal game play. Choose the Master Ox route and you will face many komodos. No grinding Necessary.
Corrupt, HELBRECT
You will defeat a few Komodos throughout the Story, and you may have this by the time you finish the story if you have to re-fight any battles. If you don't then you will defeat more Komodos when going for your gold medals in Freeplay. Some of the Combat Arena challenges involve Komodos, but as you need 64, you may need to re-play some even after you have all of your gold medals.
