How to unlock the Stab-Rite achievement in L.A. Noire - Definitive Guide

This achievement requires you to Find the blood stained knife on your first sweep of the hit and run at Ray's cafe. Ray's cafe is the first location you go to during the traffic desk case "A Marriage Made in Heaven". Once you get to the crime scene, go down the left side of the cafe into an ally and as soon as you enter, you will notice two trash cans.
Approach them and press cn_A when you hear the clue noise prompt. The achievement won't pop right away, so don't worry. It will pop a bit later in the story when you need to head to the morgue.

It is very important that you find the knife the first time you visit the scene as that is the requirement for the achievement. If you forget, you can always restart or replay the case from the main menu.

To obtain this achievement you need to find the bloody knife during your first sweep at Ray's Cafe. But be warned, the achievement won't pop up immediately. It will unlock after the morque scene.

Case: A Marriage Made in Heaven [Traffic]

Pretty simple achievement. Once you arrive at the crime scene and all the formal's are complete, head into the alleyway in-between Rays Café and the other building to its left. You'll notice two dustbins and in the left one is the knife. Pick it up and investigate it and the achievement will unlock.

During the case "A Marriage Made In Heaven" you must find the bloodstained knife on your first sweep of the crime scene.

As soon as you reach the Crime scene head to the left of the bar straight to the Garbage bin. Picking up the knife will get Cole talking about it, but not paying much attention since you are investigating a Hit and Run. After visiting the Coroner about the cause of death, you learn that the victim didn't die from the car hitting him, but from a knife wound. That same knife you found when you first came to the crime scene. The trophy will soon follow. Thanks GameFrontDotCom for the video.

The Case of A Marriage Made In Heaven . Right at the very beginning of the investigation, while examining the crime scene, go to the trash can next to the house and take out a bloody kitchen knife from there and examine it. The trophy itself will appear much later, when new information about the case comes to light.
