How to unlock the The Up And Up achievement in LA Noire - Definitive Guide
You can get this achievement and a few others in the first case of the Traffic Desk, called "The Driver's Seat". I'll list the following clues and interview responses required to get the five star rating below.
Note that you'll be penalised if you deal substantial damages to your car, the city (lamp posts, etc.), or run over a civilian. Racking up large amount of damages will reduce your rating. To ensure that you get a five star rating while doing the below steps, make sure to either drive very safely, or simply hold beside your car (with a destination already selected) to get your partner to drive (fast travel).

The only advice I'd add to this is that if you cause damage to your vehicle, hit pedestrians or cause "city damage" (e.g, hit a light post), it knocks your rating down and you won't get five stars, even with a perfect case.

There's quite some leeway. I hit several lamp posts and still got it. I'll add it in though.

Cases: Any case from Traffic, Homicide, AD Vice or Arson.
Street Crimes: None
Again, there are loads of opportunities to gain this but the earliest is on the case 'The Drivers Seat'. Please refer to "Shamus To The Stars" for more details on how to get 5 stars in a case.

If you don't reach five stars, at the end of the case they usually write - what we did wrong. We remember and go through it again. Below (see Interrogation with bias) I wrote how to pass the first case in the transport department with five stars.

The rating is issued after the final investigation of the case, it depends on the amount of evidence collected, the correct reactions during interrogation and the accusation of more or less the right suspect (if you need to choose). The rating is also negatively affected by the damage you cause to your car, city property and pedestrians. A couple of wrecked cars won't do anything, but it's better not to get carried away with it.
This trophy can be obtained in the first case of the traffic department The Driver's Seat , as well as with it The Third Degree trophy for correct reactions in each interrogation and Golden Boy , having found all the evidence in the case.
