How to unlock the Cat Lover achievement in Lake - Definitive Guide

On Day 3 (September 3rd) you need to deliver a letter to 200 Lake Road (Mildred Jenkins) [She lives on the Main Road, drive west from the Main Town], during the this dialoge she asks you to take one of her cats to a vet/friend in town. Deliver the cat to the Bait Shop and pick it back the next day. Once you deliver the cat back home the achievement will pop.

In order to get this achievement you have to do 2 things:
On day3 when miss Jenkins asks you to take the cat to the vet choose the second option: " Sure I’ll get right on it! Here, little kitty come on! " Then go to the bait shop and talk to Mr. Mackey to deliver Mortimer the cat.
On day4 go to the bait shop again to grab Mortimer the cat and go back to miss Jenkins. After the talk the achievement will pop

This achievement never popped for me. Will there be chapter select once game is completed or will I have to replay?

On your second day of work, the cat lady will ask you if you can help her with her sick cat.
Just say yes and drive the cat to the new marker on the map.
The next day you can pick up the cat and take it to the lady.
After you give her the cat, you will get the achievement

MISSABLE

You'll meet Mildred or Miss Jenkins, on September 2nd. On September 3rd, you'll return to her house to deliver a letter and when you do, she'll tell you that her cat, Mortimer, is dreadfully sick. When she asks you to take Mortimer to Burt, agree to help (if you don't tell her yes, you'll be blocked out of this trophy). With Mortimer in tow, make your way to the Northeastern side of the lake to find Burt (Mr. Mackey). 
 
He'll be on the dock behind the shop. Give him Mortimer and he'll do what he can to help the poor feline. On the next day (September 4th), make your way back to the Dock (there will be an orange "!" on the map) and pick up Mortimer. Exhaust the dialogue with Burt, then head back to Mildred's house (when you have Mortimer, her house will be marked with an orange "!" on the map). Give her Mortimer and exhaust the dialogue and when you're done, the trophy will unlock.

*MISSABLE*

This achievement is in two parts and begins on September 3.

Mildred is located at 200 Lake Rd, at around the 11 o’clock position of the lake. As you walk up to her mailbox to deliver a letter, she walks up to you and says there’s an emergency with her cat, Mortimer. As you are talking, she asks you to take her cat to Mr. Mackey at the bait shop. After she asks, make sure you choose the dialogue option “Sure, I'll get right on it! Here, little kitty. Come on!”. If you do not select this option, you cannot earn the achievement.

Note: If you enter the driver’s side of your truck holding the cat crate, you are required to drive to Mr. Mackey’s immediately. However, if you put the cat crate in the back of the truck, you can continue delivering mail. Your choice.

Drive to the bait shop, which is located at around the 1 o’clock position of the lake (it will be marked with an orange exclamation point). Walk up the stairs to the building and Mr. Mackey is on the pier facing the lake. After a short conversation, you leave Mortimer with Mr. Mackey and go about your day.

The following day, September 4, return to the bait shop at some point to retrieve Mortimer. Drive back to Mildred’s house (it will be marked with an orange exclamation point) to return Mortimer to her and the achievement will unlock.
