How to unlock the Tower Watcher achievement in Lake - Definitive Guide

To get the achivement you simply need to walk to the top of the watchtower.

The tower can be found by following the main road around the lake.
From Main Street (Post Office) drive west until you reach the Woods [Fast Travel Point]. Drive onto the road and take the first road to the left, it has a sign with "Hiking Trail" on it, once you reach the top stop the van and walk onto the watchtower. I got this achievement on Day 3.

Just want to add on to your guide that you do not get this achievement if you choose to climb the tower with one of the other characters. You must walk up the steps manually, outside of a cut scene.

Fast travel to the Woods and a little west you will see a winding road. At the end of it you will see a tower. Climb the tower and the achievement will pop.

The first chance you have to get this achievement is on your first day of work.
Just drive to the end of a small road that will take you up a hill south of the "woods" symbol. (red circle on the picture).
The tower icon will only be visible on the map once you have been there.

At the end of the workday on September 6th, Kay will leave you a voicemail inviting you to hang out at the watchtower the next day (September 7th). Agree to meet with her and you'll automatically find yourself at the watchtower the next morning. Exhaust all of the dialogue and the watchtower will now be marked on your map.


Revisit the watchtower at any point before the end of the workday on September 13th and climb up to the top of it to unlock the trophy.

*MISSABLE*

This can be unlocked as early as your first solo working day, September 2.

The watchtower is to the southwest of the post office, at around the 8 o’clock position of the lake. Open your map with rb.png and place a waypoint with button-x.png at the location in the image below. Get in your truck and drive counter-clockwise (if starting from the post office) down the main road that runs parallel to the lake. You will cross over a bridge then come to a right turn. Turn right then take the left fork up to the watchtower.

When you get out of your truck, walk up the steps to reach the top of the tower. Once you get to the top, the achievement will unlock.
