Hi,
After completing the stage bonus, die in stage 2 and repeat the stage 1 + stage bonus until you get 8,000 to buy a skill in the store.

You gain money for each hit, each kill, and every time you pick up money

The amount of money you gain is increased by your "beat" count. You will receive a x2 to pickup at 20 beats, x3 at 30, all the way to a max of x9 at 90. I can confirm it does not increase to x100 at 100

So you get 1 x multiplier per hit, 10 x multiplier per kill, and 50 x multiplier per money pickup

So your goal should be keeping as high a combo as possible without getting hit. Specials are ok, dash attacks are ok, and jump attacks are ok

You can speed up your run by getting a good combo before picking up money. If you see money on the ground and are close to a new multiplier threshold, hit the threshold first!

For extra cheese, play NOA and build up a x4+ combo before going to the secret area. The secret area is on level 1 at the first screen. Use the hammer to break the red lock on the garage in the background

Lastly, you have to beat the level to bank your money. It doesn't work to just complete the first secret area over and over again, you have to actually beat the level so you'll want to beat stage one, beat the bonus stage, then die in stage 2 right away. Stage 2 has harder enemies so you're better building your combo in stage 1

Pro tip for the boss: Use your special on him then just do a bunch of dash attacks
