How to unlock the Protector achievement in Late Shift - Definitive Guide

You can get this one in the Tchoi torture sequence. All you have to do is select the option for protecting Mai Lin every time the game gives you this as an option. This has to be done 4 times. In order to get the option 4 times, you will need to have your relationship with Mai Lin as positive as possible. This means making a compliment towards her when you arrive at the auction, siding with her during the auction and high fiving during the getaway.

I agreed with May-Ling just outside the auction house. And I let her do all the bidding she wanted. We weren't able to high-five, because after getting caught, we weren't in a high-fiving mood, but I was still able to spit in Tchoi's face and get it.

I don't remember if it's the only way, but after the unavoidable crash, choose Police.

This trophy unlocks during the 'The 5-Star Hotel' episode. The choices you need to make are the following:

“Protector” can be earned in the 5 star hotel, during the torture scene. Keep on selecting “protect her,” and this will unlock at the end of the scene.
