How to unlock the Professional mower achievement in Lawn Mowing Simulator - Definitive Guide
Edit: September 8th, 2022 I have now updated all 8 Professional Challenges with completion videos reflecting the addition of the String Trimmers. Let me know if you have any questions!
For anyone who would like to see the original videos for the version without String Trimmers, I have left them on my Channel but they are unlisted to avoid confusion. If you would like to see them, just message me and I can send you the links to them.
Edit: September 15th, 2021 An update dropped for the game this week, and has added 3 new Challenges(1 each at Amateur, Professional and Expert level) for some Patterson mowers. These Challenges, as of now, are NOT required for getting the Challenge Achievements, so I'm not going to be adding them to my solutions. If that changes, I will, of course, upload videos of myself completing them.
Hello all. Below are individual videos detailing each Professional Challenge. Some general tips:
Fuel Challenges always give you enough fuel to be patient. Don't be rushed by the flashing red Fuel Gauge. The newly-added String Trimmers make Fuel Challenges MUCH easier, so feel free to run the Trimmer as much as you want before using the fuel in your mower.
Mowing Challenges, especially into the Professional and Expert ones, are more a matter of managing your Engine Overloads. Learn how to manage the Engine Damage and the Challenges become much easier. Learn how much grass you can cut at full speed and pick how you want to handle overloads(I prefer to tap the accelerator when I overload).
Stripe Challenges are not strictly about following the arrows to a T. Use the arrows as guidelines, but you don't need to follow the direction OR width of the arrows exactly. You simply need to alternate the direction you cut similar to the direction the arrows are. (For example, you can make your first cut driving opposite of an arrow as long as your subsequent cuts alternate direction like the arrows do)
Driving straight onto the ramp will save you a lot of time at the end of a Challenge, but there is a risk to be penalized, so weigh that with how much of a Fine you can still handle.
Sometimes you'll need a run or two just to get used to the mower.
Pause the game when you jump into a Challenge so that you know how much grass you need to cut to complete it. The difference between needing 99,5 and 99.9 can be quite a bit.
If you have any questions for me, don't hesitate to ask!

Unfortunately my game is bugged on Series X. I've completed all amateur challenges and 1/9 professional challenges no problem. But when I complete another professional challenge it bugs and my saved game seems to disappear (including campaign). I force close the game and my save reappears but the challenge doesn't save so is stuck on 1/9. Anyone else experienced the same and found a fix?

Yes I have had the same experience. Not sure what to do or how to fix it.

Glitched.
There are 9 Professional Challenges available, but I personally only needed to complete 8 for the trophy to unlock. As with the Amateur Challenges, the Professional Challenges include the Fuel Limit and Time Limit challenges, but this section also adds in Striping Challenges. These of course will be a bit more difficult compared to the Amateur challenges, but not nearly as strenuous as the Expert Challenges. You will always be given more than enough fuel for the Fuel Challenges, but the Time Limit Challenges will be a bit more tight. In order to drive faster, you can't cut the grass at the width of your mower, or else you'll overclock the engine and leave patches of grass that you'll need to go back over. If you stick to mowing strips of grass at about half the width of your mower, you should be able to breeze through these much quicker. The Striping challenges will require you to reach a certain % of correctly laid stripes. The difficulty on these doesn't come from the striping, but from the fact that these are also time-limited. You won't get nearly as much of a window on these, so you'll need to move quickly and efficiently to complete them. A few of these might take a few attempts, but again, compared to the Expert Challenges, they shouldn't be too bad. Depending on if the trophy glitches for you or not, this will unlock after you've completed either only 8 challenges or all 9.
