For my first mower I picked the middle, side-discharge Patterson and the achievement popped.
SCAG is also an American brand

Knight doesn't work, I bought it as I needed a mulcher but this achievement didn't pop.

Thanks I'll update. Side not, the Patterson has a mulcher attachment you can purchase additionally. That's what I did

, so this trophy will unlock naturally as you purchase all of them. Once you've bought your first one, the trophy will unlock.
