How to unlock the Too Little, Too Late achievement in Layers of Fear (2016) - Definitive Guide
The game has three endings in total. These include 'The don't forgive ending' which is this one Im currently writing about. Then the ending where you 'Forgive' and finally the more secret ending which is 'The tree and the apple' or the one in which you find out what the true Inheritance is.
Both the Don't Forgive and Forgiveness endings are quite simple to work out.
For this one (Don't Forgive) play through making sure you show the father in a bad light.
FOLLOW THE MOTHERS PATH ALL THE WAY THROUGH
DURING THE MEMORY SEQUENCES:
1) Don't let the Dog out in the kitchen
2) Don't get the dog off the sofa
3) When the painter paints you make sure you look away constantly
4) Don't take the piano sheet music when the painter is playing piano (you will see it glowing white)
5) When in the closet don't lock yourself in
6) Turn the gramophone on while your mother is asking for help
7) When playing the piano just mash the keys until the father becomes angry
8) When given the option to paint or use a crayon in the Art studio use the Crayons all the way through. Don't use the Paint brush
9) In the section where you collect three piece of paper with the wife's face view it after finding the pieces (if you follow the mothers path throughout the picture should come out disfigured)

Well for one I appreciate the walkthrough but I must say it was one of the most confusing walkthroughs I've watched to get an achievement. Most of the time you just seemed to be walking around with what looked like no clue and just stumbling through, especially in the art studio scene/memory.
You say at point 6:
6) Turn the gramophone on while your mother is asking for help
and yet in your video you didn't do this (as I see already pointed out above but another member).
Then you say in point 8:
8) When given the option to paint or use a crayon in the Art studio use the Crayons all the way through. Don't use the Paint brush.
You used the brush 3 or 4 times and the paints (even starting the scene/memory off by selecting the brush and not the crayon.
and finally at point 9:
9) In the section where you collect three piece of paper with the wife's face view it after finding the pieces (if you follow the mothers path throughout the picture should come out disfigured)
But yet you never went down the mothers side at all and stuck with the fathers (right side) all the way through so the face was perfect and unscared when following your video.
As I said I really do appreciate the time and effort you went to making the videos and I loved your other vid's of the actually game itself but felt so confused a lot of the time watching this one. Maybe as pointed out about edit your points so they actually reflect what you do in the game.

Correction on LINE 6 - You DO NOT want to turn the gramophone on... as you didn't in your video either...

Lucky, these endings seem to be much easier to trigger in comparison to the main game. I have branded this particular ending as the "Unforgiving ending". In short, the sequences throughout the game will all need to follow a pattern of showing how insane and horrible the father was. The following will help you trigger this ending.
1. Always follow your mother's portrait.
2. When you enter the workshop, always use the crayons on the easel rather than the paint brush.
3. In the small room with the rat traps, do not lock the door before your father gets to you.
4. During the section where you are told to sit still and look at "me", you need to constantly look away and anger your father.
5. In the bedroom, do not turn on the gramophone while your mother is pleading.
6. Purposely anger your father while playing the piano.
I hope this helps.

3. Yes, thanks I'll change that, but it didn't change the outcome when I originally tried it.
