I couldn't grab the shotgun either. The cabinet door remained locked. What gives?

I got all 16 rodent pictures on my wall, but no achievement!

Same for me, I have collected everything but Rodent achievement is at 93%, Whispers achievement is at 90%, and mementos achievement is at 87%. Bugged?

My solution: I deleted my saved game and played through it again picking up all the collectibles, I got the Family Mementos achievement in Chapter 4 and the Rodent Drawings achievement in Chapter 5. I think it just glitches out and doesn't count one or two pick ups.

Note: I used Beth Bear's walkthrough on You-Tube instead of the one above.

I noticed the collectables in the video being in slightly different places on the Xbox version. He doesn't pick up 2 drawings and the brush off the bed in the kids bedroom. Grabbed them any way just in case. No shotgun either for me

Rodent achievement was stuck at 93% for me. I deleted my save and picked up all the drawings up to and including the one in chapter 3 on the upside down table. This time I picked it up before flicking the light switch - achievement unlocked.

I started a NEW on my second play through (which I did a complete collectibles playthrough) and missed only one (paint plate) because it did not spawn and the achievement DID NOT unlock although I had picked it up on my first play through. However, the other two collectibles were not there on my new game, only the ones I did not pick up.

I almost got stuck on 93% but i pulled up my side bar and looked at my achievement status and it was at 100% but still locked, so i just when up to "see my achievements" and boom! it unlocked with no extra unnecessary game play! i hoped this helps!

For those who can't find the paint plate, turn off the lights first and then the lamp. A door will appear on your right ) when you face the fireplace ). Open it and you'll be in a normal version of that room. The plate now appeared in front of the fireplace

has any one had any problems with the 7:30 rodent pic, for the love of god, i cant open the door after the piano moved, i have reloaded this chapter god knows how many times now, and its starting to annoy the heck out of me.

@LemonyGaron1 - I too was baffled with that part. If you carry on through the other door it will be the same room and you can pick up the rodent drawing (at least that is what I did and it worked).

Never mind. I got it. It's Xbox one vision. After piano chamber, Look left and open the dresser. Check the hanging coat inside.

I've noticed a significant delay on achievements unlocking. Took at least a full day for the self-preservation one. Currently waiting on the rat drawing one. Stuck at 93% but have all 16 on the wall.

After I completed my first through I just stayed at the main menu and this achievement popped after about 3 minutes.

Got all 16\16 but achievement is stuck at 93%. Same for other collectables, all % are wrong. This game is a total bug.
The only way is to pick up everythings again.

I deleted my save and was able to get the other two but rat drawings is still stuck at 93%. I have collected all 16 twice now and no achievement...guess third time will be the charm. This is the only achievement I need for main game.

Video puts the Ouija board before the necklace and the video's last memento (the last collectible I needed). I was VERY confused.

I am missing the very middle drawning, a pity I can't post the picture. Could anyone help me, with chapter this might be? Am at my third playthrough and don't wanna redo everything a fourth time, so any help is appreciated

DrRico25 & Epsilon Factor - I too had the problem with the cabinet being locked still.

My solution: After completing the game, I went to chapter select and went through the chapter until I got to that point, tried to open it before going in the child's room (it was locked), went in the room and did all that was required, came out and then I could open the cabinet door and pick up the pistol.

Heard some people say you have to finish the game once before you can get it unlocked, not sure if that's true but this worked for me.

Just giving people a heads up, I collected all 16 drawings and the achievement didn't pop but used this method to get the achievement - delete your save from everywhere, and then start new game to recollect the drawings again. (You shouldn't be able to chapter select, if your givin the option to you have to delete your save again)

For me the achievement popped at chapter 2 by getting the 6th drawing, so it might pop for you around there or later, again you'll probably have to recollect all of them for the achievement to pop.
