How to unlock the CRASS MENAGERIE achievement in Left 4 Dead 2 - Definitive Guide

The four uncommon infected you have to kill and their locations are as follows:

Dead Center Campaign - Kill a CEDA Agent (man in big green suit)
Dark Carnival Campaign - Kill a clown
Swamp Fever Campaign - Kill a mudman (men covered in mud who run on all fours)
Hard Rain Campaign - Kill a construction worker

Yeah, this is definitely the correct set you need to kill (the Riot Cop Zombies don't count towards this at all)

Yeah riot cop got removed in the Australian version and it would have ruined sync with achievements if Australians have 4/4 and everyone else have 5/5 to kill.

For this achievement, you will need to kill the following 4 uncommon infected...

Dead Center - CEDA Agent (Infected in large suit, can sometimes carry boomer bile)
Dark Carnival - Clown
Swamp Fever - Mudman (men covered in mud who run on all fours)
Hard Rain - Construction worker (Infected with high-vis jacket and a hard hat)

Would I be able to do this by going into a game, killing (for example) a CEDA Agent and then leaving the game, and then heading onto Swamp Fever, kill a Mudman etc? Or does it have to be done over a full game / campaign?

There are several Uncommon Infected dotted throughout the different campaigns. You may not notice them while playing but they are all level specific.

  • Hazmat Infected
  • Mud Men
  • Clown Infected
  • Worker Infected

You will probably earn this achievement without even knowing so just play through the campaigns and watch out for the different types of Infected.
