How to unlock the STILL SOMETHING TO PROVE achievement in Left 4 Dead 2 - Definitive Guide

Well as no one has actually wrote this up, ill do it.
-L4D2 GLITCH METHOD-
You need: 2 people minimum, 4 people max.
Private Match.
You play through the campaign on Easy, until the final saferoom.
Half of the lobby backs out, but not the host.
The remaining people/person in the game will send the invite there and then, the two people in the lobby open it but dont accept it.
Just as the rescue vehicle is coming the people in game will change the difficulty to expert, and then get the other people to join (remember it takes about 30 seconds for people to join).
The two people that have joined must get into the rescue vehicle to get credit for doing 1/5 campaigns on expert.

IF IT FAILS:
-The people getting the achievement must back out before reverted back to the safe room.
-They must change it back to easy in the safe room.

HINTS AND TIPS:
-Keep Pipe Bombs, Molotovs and Pukes handy for when the vehicle arrives.
-Try to lure the bots onto the rescue vehicle before/as the people are joining the game.

What do you do if it fails after everyone joins the game? We joined to everyone being downed, restarted the finale, vote changed back to easy, not sure if its gonna work yet.

Can someone clarify what you need to do if the finale gets botched to still count the campaign as completed? It sounds like you have to dashboard before the safe room reloads, is this correct?

If you feel like up dating your solution. I tried it today and worked all three times and one with realism as well. You don't have to dashboard if you fail the mission and your one of the getting the expert level. If you fail, when your back in saferoom just exit back to the game menu. Have the other 2 people vote back to easy and send you invites and then just wait till the end and then rejoin. As long as the 2 people going for it live. They will get it.

When my boosting partner and I failed the mission and used the quit to main menu method the chapter did not count for him so it looks like that may only work some of the time. I can also confirm the glitch does work as of 8/13/2013.

Anyone still needs this achievement hit me up! I live in Australia however I seem to be able to play on US connection. UK connection is impossible for me most of the time however I will compromise if I get the opportunity to do this.

My gamertag is LastSoldier H3

Am on most days.

I have a mic

I finished the left 4 dead campaigns on expert quite a few times over the years. So yes I am decent and reliable.

If you're gonna tackle this the legit way, as did I, it's gonna take A LOT of practice. Expert is nothing to play with. It takes like 5 hits to down someone (being as the common infected do 20 damage per hit) & the special kill you faster than that. Friendly fire is a devastator and tanks are just darn mean! So the best thing that I found to do was to complete Left 4 Dead 1 campaigns on Expert (& there is no way to glitch that achievement), since it's quite a bit easier so you can get used to the game flow. Since most of the other stuff has been covered in the other solution, I'll just list the campaigns by difficulty & which ones to begin with on Expert and which to end on (I'll rate them 1-10, 1 being easiest and 10 being hardest by difficulty in my book).

Hard Rain (7/10): By far the easiest campaign & easiest finale. The only hard part is the sugar mill with the witches. There are plenty of places to hide. This is recommended for The Real Deal achievement.

The Parish (8/10): Nothing too difficult. There are a few hard parts throughout the campaign *cough* the mardi gras float *cough*. That part gave me so much trouble! But once you get to the finale, you should have no problem. It's quick and the enemies are avoidable for the most part.

Swamp Fever (9/10): Overall this one is a little more advanced. There are a lot of enemies and TONS of creciendo (sp) events. The plane creciendo is pretty easy though. It's pretty tough to get to the finale. The finale is moderate. There are a lot of enemies, but the area is pretty big, making it pretty easy to kill enemies and get to the rescue boat. Shouldn't be hard. Just make sure to keep a look out for the final tank when making a run for the boat.

Dead Center (10/10): No doubt one of the hardest things ever! Lots of creciendo events, darkness in the mall & just annoying overall. Getting to the 3rd level is a nightmare & let's face it, the finale is just one big migrane. The best way is to get 4 good people who can defend themselves and throw down the gas cans and have one person constantly putting them in. Maybe have 2 down putting them in just in case one gets smoked or hunted. It'll make it a little less frustrating anyway. This one will be rough, I can promise you.

Dark Carnival (13/10): GEEEZ! This is HARD, no other way to put it. Lots of creciendo events & more zombies than any other campaign. Act 3, the Coaster is soooo hard & Act 4, getting to the saferoom is all about luck. I can't help too much with this one, it's basically a luck game. The finale isn't as hard as Dead Center's, but the campaign is MUCH more difficult. The finale is pretty easy being that there is a huge stage, so you can see a lot & help out friends. Make good use of the firecrackers! Getting to the helicopter is hard though! I actually got this one by luck, because on the way to the helicopter, I got hit by a tank and it actually knocked me into the helicopter, had that not happened, I probably would still be working on this one..

1 Campaign= about 3-4 hours on Expert because you die a lot and you must move slowly to keep from dying.

Use pain pills and med packs VERY wisely.

Stay in groups and melee when vomited on or in close quarters to avoid friendly fire.

Last, but not least... Good luck! This is difficult, but it means a lot more when achieving the legit way!! :)

P.S. I got frustrated doing this, so it's normal!

If you have The Passing DLC, then try out some of the mutations, as they make it considerably easier. If you do a campaign with a mutation on the Expert difficulty, it'll also give you credit for this achievement.

I find that Last Man on Earth and Gib Fest make this one quite a bit easier.*

Last Man on Earth* is single player only. It removes all common infected and only special infected come after you. It makes things much easier than you'd think. I promise. Tanks can still be annoying, but I found lighting them on fire and running helped wonders. Getting hunted or smoked will not instantly kill you; it'll just make you black and white. This one is definitely recommended for the Dark Carnival level for the 3rd and 4th act. Makes it MUCH easier without the huge crowd of zombies.

Gib Fest* makes things easier as well with infinite ammo and no reloading and a nice magnum as well. Things are easier to kill and you don't have to worry with the vulnerable reloading period against a tank! I'd still do this co-op as the AI are really dumb.

*These mutations are not available all the time. Keep a check on the mutations if you are having trouble doing this the normal way.

Good luck; you will need it. This game is hard.

I think both guides go well together, and I actually enjoyed reading both of them. Most guides offer the easiest method, even If that means doing things less than legitimately.

I am glad to have read honest strategies for a seriously hard achievement.

Why not actually do it the way the game is meant to play as opposed to some glitch in the game? I can tell you, the ratio for this and the one for L4D1 would be sky high if valve wasn't so buggy. Plus it's fun bonding time with your team

the current mutation **gib fest** makes this achievement alot easier, and alot of fun to do! :-)
It runs until friday 13th aug 10, and requires you have **the Passing** DLC, which enables you toplay Mutations.

Basicalls gib fest is a mutation where all players have a M60 heavy machine gun with unlimited ammo, and does not require reload. As a sidearm you have the magnum.
Played with bots, it makes this achievement a hell of a lot easier. Plus you can have the piece of mind that you have a glitch-free achievement (if it really bothers you lol)
Best played with bots for achievement, but hella fun with friends.
Alot of people have stated they are having trouble starting up a dark carnival campaign, and also stated multiple issues with disconnection from the game server.
The only remedy for this which i STRONGLY RECCOMMEND is to host your game on local server, and not official dedicated.
Hope this helps, and lastly....
Good luck with the twins on the swamp fever finale ;-)

I'll shared my method of acquiring this achievement by solo.

The easy-expert glitch still works (as of 7/12/2012).

For mutation, you'll need "The Passing" DLC. So far only two were used:
"Last man on earth" & "Gib fest". "Last man on earth" allows you to run through early chapters very fast, and "Gib fest" equipped the whole team with powerful M60 which can kill tank easily.

Generally, start early chapter with "Last man on earth" mutation and set difficulty on easy, run through all chapter until finale, pause the game, exit to main menu and then load "Gib Fest" (or "Last man on earth") mutation with expert difficulty and finish the last level.

Tip for finale
-------------------

1. Dead Center
I used "Last man on earth", you'll need to collect 8 gas cans and fill up the car.
Not much problem in this finale, just make sure you heal yourself with first aid kit after attack from SI (kill them before healing). I heal myself was like 4 times here.
To fight off Tank, errmm... not necessary, just avoid him or molotov him, eventually he'll died off. Take shortcut (jump to booth's top, etc) since Tank can only follow proper route (stairs/etc).

2. Swamp fever
"Gib Fest" was used, and the whole team was stationed in 2nd floor on the mansion (staircase there). Killing regular zombies and SI was a breeze.
For Tank, just light him up with molotov, and circle around, avoid debris. 4x M60 can gunned him down quite quickly.
Upon escape boat arrive, pipe bomb/bile jar and adrenaline then run toward the boat.

3. Dark Carnival
Tip from Rusty Woud for "The Real Deal"
incap teammates and stay on jesus rail/plywood until chopper came, pipe bomb, adrenaline and run to the chopper!

4. Hard Rain
Note: Jesus table was patched.
"Gib fest" and stay on the rooftop. No special instruction/strategy here.

5. The Parish
"Last man on earth" was easier. take the route from Ricky Horror video guide in "Bridge over trebled Slaughter". (Take left most path until the branch to heli-pad)
For me, SI didn't manage to attack me, and Tank was spawn earlier, so I just inject adrenaline and run through him, and run toward the heli-pad.
Note:If you haven't unlocked "Bridge over trebled slaughter" you may also able to unlock it.

This worked for me on single player as of 11/12/14 - which means it will probably work indefinitely.

I had more luck running through the first stages on Gib Fest, though.

For the easy way to get this achievement out of the way, have at least two people (including you) that want to get this achievement. First of all, look at this youtube video and the glitch still works! To check if you did the glitch right, you go to achievements on the main menu of Left 4 Dead 2 and see if x/5 campaigns are complete.
P.S. This is the first time I ever linked a youtube video to Trueachievements, but if the youtube video doesn't show, type this on youtube.com: "Left 4 Dead 2 Expert Realism Achievement Glitch Guide." The glitch still works!

The current mutation "last man on earth" makes this achievement easy.

In LMoE you are the only survivor and there are no common infected. Just special infected, tanks, jockeys etc. You can get downed once and you come back black and white.

For most, you can just run through the levels without thinking (it obviously helps you if know the route first). The only problems will be tanks and SI that catch you off guard (I got huntered at the top of a manhole :( ). Keep an adrenaline handy for when the tank comes, or you know the SI are on your tail. Jockeys also seem to be a bitch.

For weapons I'd recommend the big-ass shot gun and don't be worry about blitzing through a clip, most of the time it will only be you vs one SI, and that situation is often avoidable.

*Turning on full captions is also extremely helpful*

I just flew through The Parish in about 30 mins, I only had to restart on the 4th act a few times due to a very early tank.

The glitch requires two pistols and a melee in a location where there is a weapon (any other weapon except for the pistols that you can duel wield) on the ground.

It's best with three other teammates, but can be done by yourself.

The person performing the glitch should be duel wielding pistols.

A teammate carries a melee weapon to the location where there is a weapon and swaps the melee for the weapon, leaving the melee on the ground.

Approach the melee on the ground and try to move the melee into a corner, so you do not have to worry about the pistols and melee weapon flying in random directions. Once in position, swap the duel wielding pistols for the melee quickly. For this to work properly, this needs to be executed with the quickness.

If executed properly, the melee and duel pistols will not hit the ground and pistols will begin to spew out of your backside. The image that you see on your screen will look as if the character is constantly crossing his forearms with the pistols and the view for other gamers will be hysterical.

Rinse and repeat until you have generated enough lag.

Replicating many pistols causes the lag. Be careful not to overdo it, otherwise people could potentially lag out.

The lag that you created through replicating numerous pistols reduces (and potentially can eliminate) the possibility of enemies hurting you. This includes special infected and tanks. Just make sure enough lag is created.

Simply run through the level with your friends.

*This glitch is required for each stage in every level and will still take time, though. Can be frustrating and time consuming, but effective, once you have a handle on how to execute the replicating process.

Thanks to mrsimpleuser7 and Armymole4 for posting the videos regarding this glitch on Youtube.

I actually managed to do most of this achievement legitlly with bots (did all but Swamp Fever). Although they rarely lived through the levels and it took large amounts of time and deaths. Just run like a moron through the level with a melee weapon to keep the zombies off you and pray the specials hit the bots. If there is a tank try to avoid it at a close range then get out of the range of the rock before it has time to react.

Most of the time you will fail and get pissed but that 1 time when you finally manage to get to the safe room you feel so relieved then you get to do it again in the next level. I actually found Dead Center relitively easy even with realism it only took me 6 hours and in the finale if your quick enough only one tank will spawn (I have redone this with a group and managed to get out with no tanks).

This will work for most campaigns however you still need to be smart about your placement and character choice in the finales. Dark Carnival I found it best to stay at the top of the bleachers and burn to my left and right while the bots took care of the zombies coming up them making sure not to be Ellis as he uses the sniper very effectively here. During any other campaign I would suggest being Ellis as the sniper is not effective in most running situations. For the Hard Rain finale if you stay close to the front ladder and cover the back of the over hang the bots will shoot most of the zombies before they come close.

Tanks are the major problem in the finales however the bots can be smart. Your main goal should be to focus fire on him while keeping your distance. If anyone goes down your bots try to pick them up with no regard for their health and thus they fail. As long as your not incapped they will walk backwards following you and shooting him. With all four characters shooting he should go down in about a minute.

Good luck to anyone who uses this strategy. If you want slightly improved odds bring a friends and have them stick with you nothing like getting jumped by a hunter 3 steps from the safe room and your team mate instantly beating it off with a bat to make you glad you brought them along for the ride.

If you want to get this legit, and you want what I think is the quickest, easiest, and best strategy, listen up.

I have been playing L4D since it's arrival in 2008, but even if you have only been playing for a little while it should still be rather easy. All of this is easier with a full group of 4 people, but it CAN be done solo (I however recommend gathering some buddies).

Basically, you want to run AS FAST as you can through all of the levels, excluding the finale. Do not turn around unless you need to bash a zombie, run the fastest, most direct route to the safe room. And while you are at it, stay SOMEWHAT close to your teammates, but far enough away so that if someone gets really screwed, you can just keep running. Only one teammate needs to make it to the safe room. I know it sounds ridiculous because you only start the next level with 50% health and no items from the previous level if you die, but try it before you knock it. In the following levels you will have a medkit which you can use if you want before beginning your next sprint, and guns which you only need for clearing zombies and specials. Now, if there is a tank, same deal, keep running. He will usually get one person and the rest can sweep right past him. If you die, he will usually spawn at a different part of the level. On every campaign, my buddies and I were at the finale within 15-20 minutes.

The finale is where you have to be good, or get lucky, or both.

Dead Center is probably the longest, but certainly not the hardest. Throw all the cans down and get them later.

Dark Carnival is easy, just camp up in the bleachers above where you entered the area.

Swamp Fever can be done in various places, I prefer in the left most area of the mansion, if looking at the front, upstairs (2 guard the steps, 2 guard the door).

Hard Rain is best done on the roof but it is still pretty tricky. You can sometimes trick the tank into falling in the hole then climbing back up while you shoot, then repeat.

The Parish is by far the easiest, just run.

One thing to keep in mind is that although you don't have to be alive for every stage, you WILL have to make it to the escape vehicle in order to unlock the achievement. The odds of all 4 players making it are not great, so be prepared to do some campaigns twice, and just have the people who already beat it act as bait to tanks, etc. The bulk of the time will be spent on finales, but if done legit, this achievement is extremely satisfying.

I hope this guide helps, I know I didn't get too far into specifics, but once my buddies and I realized that instead of taking our time, killing everything, and spending 2 hours per campaign, we could run our asses off and get the same results once at the finale, it was a huge relief.

Additional credit goes to BKitty8787, Ichthultu, and turdferg333 for help with this achievement and solution!

31 Jul 2011 00:12

17th Feb 13 - Achievement unlocked.

Heres how I completed this using various methods but all working as of the date above. Single player with 3 x bots.

For all levels I ran through on Realism, Easy, Local Server, (not sure if that made a difference) and Friends Only. When I started in the safe room for the last part of each chapter I quit to main menu then started a Gib Fest mutation on expert starting right from where I quit out (again on Local, Friends Only). Keeping bots alive make your way to the finale. Each chapter was different so here is how I did it.

Dead Centre -
At all time kept the bots close, slowing down if you get ahead. Collect the cans and throw them near the car. Don't put any gas in until all the cans are near it. The bots do a good job of keeping the enemy at bay with Gib Fest. You should only help out when essential and for Tanks. Pop all the cans in. First level on expert done :)

Dark Carnival-
Make sure you have a pipe bomb/puke and adrenalin. Killing the bots helps on this but I managed to do it with the bots alive (just!) Start the event by pressing the two switches. Run up and left to the top corner and jump up on the fence. Keep your eye out behind you for CI/UI climbing up and kill them if they do. When the chopper arrives adrenalin boost and jump down throw pipe bomb/puke and run to the chopper!

Swamp Fever-
Run quickly to the house and clear it of commons. Try and have a pipe bomb or puke and adrenalin. Go to the top floor balcony and go along the left. At the end break the fence. Look down, see that hedge? Thats were you will go. Place any cans/cylinders within view of that hedge. Set off the event by calling the vehicle, run back immediately as the enemy will start to spawn as you approach the house but you should make it upstairs before they get to you. Run and jump through the gap you made and stand in the far corner of the hedge. The bots may follow you onto it or not it doesnt matter. Stay in the corner shooting CI and UI. When the first Tank arrives concentrate on killing it, you may be fortunate and take it down without moving or if needs be run and kill. Make sure you are back on the hedge for the next attacks. Repeat until the message appears that your transport is here. Adrenalin boost and run! Throw pipe bomb or puke if needed and you should easily make it.

Hard Rain-
Again try and have pipe bomb/puke and adrenalin for the escape (you get it by now). Stay on top of the burger joint (the table is patched now and the jesus jetty/docks not really needed. You should easily fend off attacks. As the jetty is really close dont immediately set off when its arrival is announced as it SLOWLY chugs along. You should see it getting close then you know what to do. Boost and bomb!

The Parish-
This is the one that caused me the most problems but still managed it in four attempts. Adrenalin and pipe/puke (adrenalin wasnt always available but I always picked some up at some point.) Run on the left of the bridge firing pretty much non-stop. Your bots can mess up on this so try and keep an eye on them up until the end at least. Run along and take out the first Tank. Carry on until near the end when the vehicle escape is announced. Throw your bomb and pick up one at the stand. Boost and run down, throw your next bomb to be safe and run to the chopper.

You shouldnt have any real problems using the above. Some players may find using mutation Last Man Standing easier but I did better with Gib Fest and bots.

Hopefully this guide offers a more up to date solution regarding the patching of glitches and jesus spots.

Now that mutators are available whenever you want them, the Gibfest mutator makes this quite easy.

1) Someone who doesn't need the achievement should start up the campaign on easy with the Gibfest mutator. Everyone who needs it can join in. And you all need to be in an XBL party with voice chat. It will make things go more smoothly if everyone who needs the achievement installs the game to their hard drive beforehand for faster load times.
2) Play through up to the safehouse at the beginning of the finale.
3) Everyone who needs the achievement quits to the menu. The host sends them all an invite, which they prepare to accept.
4) Anyone still in a game plays through the finale until you are very close to the end and there is a good break in the action. If you get a pipe bomb definitely save it until after you switch to expert.
5) The timing on this will vary from campaign to campaign. For Dead Center, collect all gas cans but 1 and have it sitting right by the car. For the other 4, wait until the rescue vehicle is there, get as near to it as you can and then turn around and hold off the zombies with your M-60. Be careful not to get incapped at this point as if everyone but you is on the vehicle it will leave, ending the level.
6) The host calls a vote to switch to expert and after it passes everyone accepts the invite.
7) While they are loading the host needs to stay alive, the M-60 should make this not too bad. However they need to be careful with their fire, as the M-60 will level survivors just as fast as the zombies.
8) Once everyone has loaded they need to hit RT immediately to take control of the AI, and then finish the level.

I've edited a few of my mistakes and cleared up were to go and were things are in a few of the finale descriptions
Also I do not own this game anymore cry

Gib fest method

The Passing DLC is required to select the mutation game mode

You can do this with friends or solo as the bots will have unlimited m60s as well. Scroll over to mutation then select gib fest. Simply select the first chapter and pick expert and play through. It is still a good idea to search for shots, pills ect. Just take your time as your not invincible. The only thing to really worry about is the finales, I will give some tips for the finales, this is what worked for me, not only in mutation but regular play as well. I will do my best to give descriptions as I am going strictly off of memory.

Dead Center Finale- Your on the move constantly to grab gas cans and filling the tank, just make sure to plan your route. Not much different from normal. Its best to toss the gas cans needed down to the car then fill it up, just be aware that after a number of cans used it will spawn a tank. Use your molotovs as needed, you can gey luck and the tank will spawn behind were the elevator is. You can easily pick him off without using a molotov or boomer bile. Again plan your route before hand, I found it best to go all the way up and work your way down, that way you don't backtrack upstairs, then back down again.

Dark Carnival Finale- The best camping spot for me is right behind you when you walk out of the tunnel. If your on the stage facing the seats, it is to your right in the top row in the corner. You pick off anything before it gets to you even tanks. Just watch to your right side, there is a spawn point there but you have m60s without "REALODING". Boomer bile or pipe bomb is needed if the helicopter goes to the other side.

Swamp Fever Finale- This one is a little hard to explain, because you need to know the plantation house. By that I mean where there are holes in the second story floor, and where the stairs are. If you stand out front, look to your left and you will see a door that leads inside to a stair case straight ahead. That stair case is the spot, you want to put a gas can at the foot of the door leading out front and one closer to you at the stairs. These are for the 2 tanks. If you feel over whelmed when the tanks come, set them on fire and run out front for more running space then back to the stairs until the second tank. Have a pipe bomb or boomer bile for your mad dash to the boat. (Below is two pictures to help)

Hard Rain Finale- Nothing to this one really, stay on the roof and have a pipe bomb or boomer bile ready for when the boat arrives. When you hear the horn do not immediately go to the dock. Instead wait five seconds then go.

The Parish Finale- I used the same tactic when going for bridge over trebled slaughter achievement. By staying to the left side, Don't worry about your bots, just GET TO DE CHOPPA!!! Below is a video of not how I did it but it still works. Credit for video goes to Mike Sinclair

Hope this helps people. Happy hunting

This is my first solution so any feedback would be helpful.
If it is negative let me know what i can do to improve it in future.

Ok we just tried this yesterday and it WORKS!!
We used a combo of easy-expert glitch and the jesus table on hard rain.
Play through Hard Rain on Easy.Collect bile bombs and adrenaline all along the way so you can save them for finale.
When you get to the final safe room, everyone but the host back out.
Have the host send an invite to the rest of the team so they can join right before you turn on the sign.
The host will run thru to the end on easy, clearing out all the zombies around the restaurant. Vote to change difficulty to expert. After vote has passed have the team join session. When everyone is back in, have them get on the jesus table. Everyone have their lights OFF. The last person on the table turns on the sign,
Then wait. Keep spamming the melee button so you dont go idle.
Try to avoid shooting anything to give away your position.
After a few tanks the boat will come.
EVERYONE use adrenaline before you jump off the table and run to the boat. Then take turns throwing bile bombs away from you as you run to the boat to keep the normal infected busy. everyone jump on the boat. and Voila!
You should have 1/5 stages on expert or however many you have already.

Thanks to X TERRAN X, KingJonty, and AKU Dorkinstine for the help on this stage.

As of 12/02/2017 this method works.

I did this all solo using the gib fest mutation. The glitch to play through the campaign on easy, when the last chapter loads - immediately exit to lobby. Do not call a vote. Load a campaign on expert for the finale and playthrough.

Dead Center - You will need all 13 fuel cans on the map. I suggest throwing them all together then pouring in at once. Use an adrenaline shot if you can. I suggest kiting the tanks around on the first level if you are there. Easier then it seems. (Done in 1 try)

Dark Carnival - I used the jesus rail (don't know if works on recent patch but you can remove patches). Took me quite a few tries as all special infected will still attack you. Pipe bomb and shot to make it to helicopter - if you are lucky it will spawn on your side. (Done in 5+ tries)

Swamp Fever - There is a safe spot. Looking out from the plantation, go right to the side of the side house. Crouch under the stairs and go far back. The bots will survive well depending on where tank spawns but nothing should hit you. Adrenaline shot to the rescue. (Done in 2 tries after safe spot method)

Hard Rain - Honestly probably the easiest, maybe use this one for the Real Deal. Just camp out on the roof. Kite the tank around the hole in the roof when he gets up to you. (Done in 2 tries)

The Parish - Pretty easy as well. Run across the bridge. Tank always spawns about the same spot, I suggest using your shot to get past him and up the tanker. You are practically home free at that point. If you get knocked down before the tank spawns and the bots have a decent chance of saving you and you can continue on. (Done in 3 tries)

Easiest way to do this (besides being really good) is Gib Fest mutation.
Be warned, it will still not be easy. You're still going to need to be very alert of where enemies are. I would recommend playing with Full Captions on, this tells you when a special infected shows up and dies. With the M16 this mode becomes a lot easier, just don't get over confident, and remember tanks are still a threat. Witches will also one-shot you, so try to avoid them at all costs, if you can't try your best to attack from far away first.

So I got this during the mutation gib fest (with bots) the Ai seem to be a bit more useful on this than normal expert! Just remember to use throwables to your advantage and mainly look after yourself! (If there is an open space back into a wall when there is a horde!

Surviving all five campaigns on Expert will prove to be a challenge. You can either do this with friends or on your own depending on how you want to face the horde of Infected.

See "The Real Deal" for further information.
