Easy way to get this is set up a private versus match on split screen. Infected on one controller, Survivor on the other. I did it on No Mercy Finale but you can pick whatever board you are most comfortable with.
Use the Survivor to go through the board as usual. Once you get to the radio shoot all of your teammates until they are down to red and no one has any medic kits left. Be careful not to down them, I did that in a previous game and proceeded to down them all again with the tank and didn't get the achievement, not sure if that's why but better safe than sorry. After that hit the radio again to start the first wave. I went up the steps from that room to the chain gun to help shoot the first wave.
Once they are gone the Infected you are controlling will be prompted that its going to become the tank. Once you have control the Survivors usually stick together up by the chain gun.
You can try to down them two different ways. You can try your luck and keep lobbing rocks at them from a distance, Or you can just bum rush them and hope for the best. I tried both and the latter worked the first time after several attempts throwing the rocks.

That's cool, i spent about an hour and a half trying to get this from other solutions, which have been patched and so this is the only way i could find to get this achievement now.

Either get a bunch of your friends to sit there and let you pummel them as a tank, or stay near physics objects. These objects will instantly incapacitate a survivor if it is hit into them, regardless of their health. Cars, lifts, dumpsters, logs and whatnot are all readily available in each stage. The easiest one however, by far, is right in the starting alleyway in No Mercy 1. Tanks spawn here very frequently, and it just so happens that the Survivors will very likely be all grouped together for a complete team wipe with a single proper car slam. If they run away, keep swinging the car at them.

an easy way for this is 2 controllers on no mercy campaign. on the 4th part, on the elevator, get the human controller to get all the AI survivors to red health. when the elevator stops, continue on until the tank comes up (this should be most of the time). as the tank controller kill the AI survivors and then kill the human controller whilst the human controller should just stand there.

The easiest place I've seen this done was on No Mercy in the first alley, all the survivors were grouped up in it. The main thing to remember is that the tank can hit cars and send them flying, unlike the concrete throw it downs survivors instead of simply stunning them.
Also, unless you make survivors back up into something you wont be able to reach them as they run away, however in order to kill you others will get closer, especially with shotguns. So pick a target and let the shotguns get close, take em out, and then be smart about how you get after the rest. Unlike what it says all you really have to do is drop them to the ground, not actually kill them all.

Honestly the easiest way, Set up a private versus game with player 1 being infected and player 2 being survivors. Play Blood Harvest chapter 5. make your way through the chapter with your 2nd controller until you reach the farm house, search for the big logs that the tank can smack into the survivors, when you find it (there should be 1 on either side of the house) stand beside the log and the AI bots should follow, you gotta start the horde first though lol, after you do that go back to the log, start it up and when you spawn as the tank on player 1 then just run in and hit the log into the group of 4 and there ya go

Since I hate boosting for achievements, here's my guide for legit All 4 Dead:
First, you need a good area. My personal favorite is the dead air finale. When you get the ability to become the tank, set up behind one of the blue luggage carriers highlighted in red. Just line up the right shot and fire away. Much easier on the dead air finale, mostly because the survivors will set up in an open area to avoid the hunters and smokers. with a well placed hit, you can knock out 2-4 survivors, and just follow up by whacking the box again.
This plan can be used on any level with plentiful movable objects (no mercy 3 + 4, dead air 3) and in no time, you can get this achievement legit. I personally got this over two tanks on Dead Air finale, and one piece of advice, you don't have to hit them all down at the same time, just hit them all down. For example, you can down Louis and Bill, have Bill revived, then down only Zoey and Francis, and get the achievement.

I got this with both accounts/pads while playing a private offline match with two controllers. Just start No Mercy 1 and when you get to the alley that leads onto the street stop at the end of it. The Tank will spawn and you can hit the police car and/or the dumpster down the alley to incap all the survivors at once.
Remember you don't get the achievement for knocking them off a building you have to incap them.

Easily obtainable if your smart. Whenever you get to be the tank, look for something to hit at the survivors (NM usually has cars and forklifts; while BH has forklifts and logs - the latest patch means the hittable objects glow red).

An easy way I found to do this is go into a local versus on Crash course. Set up a Versus match by pressing "play with friends" and "create new" and have the person who wants the achievement be the infected player. You want to load the finale for that level as that is where you get the achievement.
Have the human player stand in the far corner behind the truck. There is a small shed with only one entrance (although the zombies can break a hole in the wall) and this is the perfect place to defend. The infected player wants to make sure they are the boomer. Just keep spawning and letting the AI kill you until you become one. At that point hang around in "blue mode" until the finale. The boomer cannot directly constrict the players movement and so it makes sure that the AI don't have to be alive to help them if they were pinned or constricted.
Once the infected player gains control of the tank, wait for the AI to run into the escape vehicle and then charge in and kill them. Its a massacre as there is nowhere to run and they are easily incapacitated. Once they are all dead you want to go and kill your friend. The safest way to do this is for the human player to stop killing the zombies and then once he is down to around 10 health, punch him with the tank. This way its the tank that gets the final hit and not the zombies so it registers as a kill by the player and not the common infected. The achievement should unlock straight away if it was the tank that knocked down all four survivors.

I got this on the level before the No Mercy Finale. after the elevator there is an open area with forklifts. I became tank here smacked the forklift and took out 3 of the survivors and killed the last one a second later. If you get lucky enough to get tank at the right time you can get it fairly easy.
