This actually needs to be done from further than your maximum reach. You need to launch the tongue whilst at max range, at a survivor running away from you (Whilst you're still, say the max range is 90FT)

This is very easy to get legit if you creep up behind single players as they're running in one direction. Try to single out lone survivors that run forward to get more points, or stragglers at the back of the pack. It's also worth trying to get this when others on your team are attacking, causing the survivors to be pre-occupied.


If you want to get this quickly it can be done in splitscreen.
Start No Mercy with two controllers and get to the first safehouse with the SECOND controller (the one you don't want the achievement on). Go inside the safehouse so that the AI follows you in, but don't close the door on yourself. Then go back up to the street and stand at one end.

Then with your first controller, press X to warp to the survivors, spawn somewhere, and get your AFK character in your sights. Back up until the point where your reticle stops being red.

Now, press shoot and move the second controller slightly away simultaneously, or slightly staggered. Your survivor should move away enough to make it 100FT.


The achievement pops when you let go of the survivor (when you're shot or when he's killed)

Grab a 2nd controller and setup a Friends-Only/System Link game and run to the safe room with the survivor and let the AI in, once the AI are in you can leave with the survivor and find your Infected player and now go for the drag :)

1) Create a private versus match with a friend
2) Choose to be infected and have your friend be a survivor
3) Once you or he starts the game have your friend kill the survivors by shooting them over and over again.
4) Than have him kill you until you are a smoker
5) Once you're a smoker, just get to the max distance to which you can still snag him, Press RT and have him run forward a bit while your creepy long tongue is still flying towards him
6) That should give your pull enough distance for you to unlock this achievement

*Note* You can do this on any map. However, I did this on bloodharvest on the first level. Good luck.

A super easy way to get this if you don't mind being a little cheap is to play vs.with a friend on No Mercy in the subway chapter. Get your friend to kill/ incap the other team mates after they clear the area before the stairs that lead to the train.
Once you are able to spawn as a smoker hide around the corner at the bottom of the stairs on the left and wait for your friend to run to the right side then pull them. This shoud give you the achievement. Just make sure your friend is moving away from you.

To boost this achievement, have a friend be a Survivor in multiplayer. Make sure that you are a Smoker. The Smoker is the infected with the long tongue. Now just have your friend stand there and go as far as you can without losing aim at him.

Grab him with your tongue. This is RT. The achievement should unlock when he touches your body.

If you're trying to do this legitimately then a good point to do this is on Chapter 3 of Death Toll.

After the survivors drop over the fence after going through the train yard they'll be on a long road (the one leading to the abandoned cabin and church beyond). The road is pretty straight and so it's easy to stand in the trees on either side and simply snare the survivor running along last in place.

The trees should give you cover if you come under fire and 100 feet should be pretty easy considering the lack of obstacles too.
