This will come naturally right after you pick up the pistol. A little further down a hallway until you reach a deadend, and another box of ammo for the pistol, you will have to shoot a board thats holding a vending machine up. Shoot it down and the achievement will unlock

This achievement is STORY BASED and must be completed to progress.
After you pick up the pistol (from the street), you enter a building. There is an ammo crate located at the end of the hallway. To the Left is a door way leading to a set of stairs. The soda machine is located at the top of the stairs. When you shoot the board in front of the machine it falls forward filling the gap in the stairs and unlocks the achievement.
