How to unlock the 6K Drive achievement in LEGO 2K Drive - Definitive Guide

this does appear to be the fastest way So according to my calculation you need about 33 hours for 6K if you start at 0 and run Afk directly

Warning: it's possible for this achievement to reset to 0% progress. After hitting 75% my progress stopped, and I discovered that my Distance Traveled statistic was reset to 0 Meters even though the other stats stayed the same. I believe the cause might have been using Test Drive from the Garage in the Main Menu instead of the Story mode, but I'm not sure. Once I worked all the way back up to 75%, my tracker started working again and I was able to get the achievement, but it was an extra 25 hours wasted.

To recap: grind this out in Story mode at a Garage using Test Drive. Do not use the Garage option from the Main Menu. You should get 1% tracker progress roughly every 20 minutes.

I guess. But after gold medaling everything how many more miles do you need?

I was at 18% for this achievement once I was done with every other achievement.

This is an insane grind! Luckily my boy just likes driving around so he helps add to the total.

Worked fine at first now it doesn't seem to track or increase at all in the garage or on the map

Same, I'm seeing no progress happening either in test drives in the garage or driving on the map.

Edit: actually it's just *reaaaaaaaally* slow. Left it rubber banded, took the dog for a walk, made the kid dinner and saw a smidge of progress on the ach tracker.

Got career miles back up and it moved to 77% so yeah, make sure youre doing stuff to save before you quit out and check your career miles before you start the next session, that number needs to hit the equivalent meters to 6k miles for it to unlock, if it doesnt save and it resets youll need to redo it.

PrimeBigTime - Plug it in directly to the console via USB-A to USB-C cable.

Thanks for the reply but I got the achievement. I just kept hitting the d pad every minute while I watched Netflix.

Did you do it in the career hub world or the test drive?

It worked great, I was at 17% when I was finished with everything. I read since it's an online service, it should save as long as you're online. But I went out of the garage and when I was in my car again I would quit to the main menu when I wanted to save and had no issues with it not saving at all.

I was at 38% after completing the story, doing all races for each class. Getting all collectables and gold medals plus doing the bonus map content.

It was then just 2 nights of "rubber banding" while I slept, roughly 6 hours each night. After first night it was up to 64% and then finished off an hour or 2 after I woke up on the second night.

I lost some progress thanks to Game Pass expiring and getting kicked off the game, so for a while the tracker wouldn't go up. It did eventually though.

I seem to be stuck at 50%. No longer tracking for some reason. Anyone else run into this?

Just to be safe always use the garage from the story mode.

Took me about 20 hours to complete EVERYTHING in the game, during this 20 hours I drove about 2000km.

The remaining distance (~8000km) took me about 30 hours of idle boosting using this method.

Just wanted to note that this will track and pop without having to leave the session to save your game or anything. If you can figure out a good setup to hold the buttons down, you don't have to stress about coming back to the game until the achivements are earned. (I used the garage from story mode)

Fun fact you can also do this on the second map and maybe third as they have water areas no trouble tracking there

Now that I finished everything else total for 3k achievement was at 58% and that was with me driving around a bit for fun and not fast traveling to get collectibles good luck everyone!

I think i'm not saving properly, i got it to 76% at the weekend and then turned it on last night to rubber band it and made 0 progress today, when i looked at career stats i had done enough miles for only 73% so its like it spent the whole day redoing what i did before.. Going to try get it to enough miles for 77% and see

To go for this get all the achievements (but 6k of course). By the time I had complete all of those raced around a bit I was on at 58% for 3k.

I followed the guide for 6k but here is a tip.

Go to garage
Choose a boat
Test drive

Now start drifting in a circle and like the Forza method stick a toothpick or paper clip between the bumpers and triggers to keep them pressed down. Then use a book (I had a textbook chilling around) to push the left stick.

Now just let the game play itself rock

After 7 hours this has gone up 21% for reference.

Enjoy sorry I can’t make the grind any faster you definitely have more fun racing but this is the lazy method.

Tried many methods of AFK farming

I chose the best one for me
We take the boat to Test Drive, there is an almost empty area
Farm consistently and quickly

The method for AFK Pharma is simple: take one rubber band and two matches
I attached an elastic band to the left stick so that it looked to the right
and took turns blocking the triggers with matches (there were no small rubber bands to secure the triggers)

You can drive yourself on the test track in the fastest car, including double acceleration with full nitro and knocking down grass and fences, in an hour you will roll 300 km. You can knock out AFK on a boat, riding in a circle, stick matches in and, left stick to the right, put a book on top of it, but every 15 minutes you need to confirm that you are not a bot by pressing additionally , maybe there is a way to prevent the gamepad from turning off after 15 minutes.

Let me add that at the moment you appear on the boat, start drifting in this very place - there are no waves and the current does not blow it to the sides, the boat cuts circles motionlessly along one trajectory, which greatly simplifies the task (you can set it overnight and not worry that the boat will stop from impacts and etc. D)
