LEGO 2K Drive

Sky Cup Champion is the last event of story mode, after beating the Hauntsburg cup, this race unlocks.

Travel to Turbo Acres and go to the center area to start it. Once the race starts, win it to unlock this achievement along with the double-jump perk.

In terms of advice on how to win, honestly, not much. My first time I fell off ledges left right and centre and even with that lost by a hair. 2nd time I played quite well (probably my best run of the race) and finished 4th. 3rd time I did ok, and ended up winning (though again, was close).

Cars I used were:

McLaren F1 LM
Weed Chopper 5000
Foul Runnings Boat

Perks were:

Healing Drifts
Double Homing Chance
Boost Breaker

Definitely don't feel like those choices were ideal though.
