How to unlock the Bane and Gain achievement in LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham - Definitive Guide

All you need to do is press start or (cn_start) go to extras and enter the code Bane- XZKLKQ it will unlock him and in freeplay / batcave etc... hold (cn_Y) for the character select and bane is at the very end at the top right.

Select Bane then hold (cn_Y) to transform into Bane (Venom-Powered) along with achievement.

Do putting in cheats mess with other achievements in the game, like how some games if you use cheat codes you won't be able to unlock achievements unless you turn cheats off or load the game back up again

No it won't mess with any achievements gains. You can use them and still attain achievements.smile

To unlock Bane, go to the beginning of Pursurers In The Sewers (level 1) part 2 (if playing the entire level it is right after the cut scene where Robin shows his love for rats) right where the checkpoint save is. There is a pool of water beside the save point that you need to freeze to create an ice sculpture with the character unlock within it. Melt the sculpture with heat vision and pick it up.

Bane can then be purchased for 100,000 studs. Select Bane to change your character and hold Y to transform.

To gain Bane, you can unlock him right away by putting in his code. Press , select Extras and enter the code “XZKLKQ”

The other way to unlock him is to play Level 1, ‘Pursuers in the Sewers,’ in Free Play mode. You need a character that can freeze water and has a heat beam. Once you have that character or characters, select the “Part 2” checkpoint when you select the level to play. Where you start is a puddle of water. Freeze it to make a Killer Croc sculpture. Melt it to get the character token. This character costs 100,000 studs. 

Once you have him unlocked, switch to Bane. Hold down  to transform into the Venom-Powered Bane and this will transform your achievement to unlocking.

Bane is unlocked by finding his character token in the first level, Pursuers in the Sewers, see the guide for its location. Once you have unlocked him he must be purchased for 100,000 studs. Simply equip him and hold to transform him into Bane (Venom-Powered) and the trophy will unlock.

In a free game on the first level of ''Sewer Race'', using Batman's freezing suit (or Supeman's freezing breath) we get Bane, then select him and hold down the character change button

Everything is much simpler - enter the code XZKLKQ and in a free game select Bane, click and turn into GigaBane.
