Firstly, the good news - Mr Mxyptlk is pretty easy to get. From the hub, push backup and move the cursor on the globe right to the Halls of Justice. From here enter the halls and go right. Destroy the silver characters on the ground floor with Batman/Cyborg to reveal a broken floor - and use Killer Croc to smash the floor. This leads to the Hall of Doom. At the entrance, complete Mr Mxyptlk first two missions to unlock him. Don't forget to buy him in the character hub.
Now the bad news - Bat-mite is perhaps the hardest character to unlock. On every level you play he has a quest for you. In free play you need to complete his task (usually get something for him and bring it back). In addition, he also has a quest in the Hall of Justice. So over 15 separate missions, spread out over the entire game!!
In reality, if you are looking to 100% the game, then it's not a problem, as you will get it en route. However, if you just want this one, you have to do a hell of a lot of the game to get it.

To unlock Bat-Mite, he first appears in the Hall of Justice after completing Batgirl's second quest. After you complete all three side mission and complete all of the other 16 quests in the free play levels (one in each level), he will be available automatically.
- ‘The Best Laid Plans of Bats and Men’ (Hall of Doom, Batgirl’s first quest).
- ‘Hat Trick’ (Hall of Justice, Batgirl’s second quest).
- ‘Proof is in the Pummeling’ (Hall of Justice).
To unlock Mr. Mxyzptlk, you will have to complete all four of his quests. He's a sparkly little character who is bald with a purple hat and has an annoying voice. He appears after you complete Ace the Bat-Hound’s second mission, ‘Sleep Well.’ Mr. Mxyzptlk quests are as follows:
- ‘Lost in Translation’ (Batcave) – Down the stairs along the right side of the Batcave; required to unlock the next mission.
- ‘Sleep Well’ (Batcave) - Mr. Mxyzptlk appears after completing this second Ace the Bat-hound mission.
- ‘The Pain Man’ (Hall of Doom) - Located outside the Hall of Doom (Lobo).
- ‘Not-So-Scared Crows’ (Hall of Doom) - Defend him against the attacking penguins outside the Hall of Doom.
Once you complete his last mission, his token should appear. Purchase it for 25,000 studs.
Once you have both characters unlocked, set them as both of your characters and the achievement will unlock.

Mr. Mxyzptlk first appears after completing Ace the Bat-Hound's second mission in the Batcave. To unlock him you must then complete his 4 missions. They are as follows:
- First mission is in the lab, right side of the bat cave
- Second mission is in the Batcave trophy room
- Third mission is in the Hall of Doom
- Fourth mission is in the Hall of Doom
Once you have completed his 4th mission, then he can be purchased for 25,000 studs.
Bat-Mite first appears in the Hall of Justice after completing Batgirl's second mission. Her first is in the Hall of Doom, her second is in the Hall of Justice. After you complete his mission and complete all of his quests in Free Play, he will be available for purchase. Once you have both characters unlocked, set them as both of your characters and the trophy will unlock.
