Darkseid is automatically unlocked when you download the Bizarro Pack, once in the HUB travel to the moon. Once on the moon switch to Darkseid and the achievement will unlock. It seems that the achievement will not unlock if you travel to the moon with Darkseid in your party, simply switch to a different character and then switch back for the achievement to unlock.
The Moon doesn't unlock till after chapter 9

The Moon can be found if you opened the Moon Portal in the Watchtower. Refer to “One Small Step for (Bat)Man...” for more information.
While on the Moon, hold 
and select Darkseid as your primary character and the achievement will unlock. Make sure you've selected him whilst on the Moon as the achievement will not unlock if one of your two characters is already Darkseid. If you change your second character to Desaad you will unlock another achievement “The Omega Powers.”

Once you have access the Moon Base in the Watchtower (refer to “One Small Step for (Bat)Man...” in the main guide for more information), go through the portal and when you arrive, switch your character to Darkseid and the achievement will unlock.
Note: If you have one of your characters as Darkseid before stepping through the portal, the achievement willnot unlock when you arrive at the Moon Base. You need to select Darkseid while already on the moon for this to unlock.

Darkseid is automatically unlocked when you download the Bizarro Pack. Once in the Watchtower, travel to the moon but do note that this isn't possible until after you have finished most of the main story and rebuilt the relevant Teleporter. Once on the moon, switch to Darkseid and the trophy will unlock. Note: It seems that the trophy will not unlock if you travel to the moon with Darkseid in your party, simply switch to a different character and then switch back for the trophy to unlock.
