To unlock Krypto the Superdog, follow the quest line on Zamaron hub world until you meet Krypto and have to race him. Beat him and he'll give you his character stud.
Ace the Bat Hound costs 25,000 studs and Krypto costs 65,000. Purchase both in the character selector and then switch to both Ace and Krypto as your A and B characters.

Ace the Bat-Hound is unlocked once you complete two side quests that are both found in the Batcave, ‘Lost in Translation’ and ‘Sleep Well.’ He will cost 25,000 studs.
Krypto is unlocked after completing five side quests on the Lantern planet Zamaron. The first four are Green Loontern quests and the final one you have to beat Krypto in a flying race. Once you complete all five quests, he is available to purchase for 65,000 studs. The side quests are:
- ‘Welcome to Zamaron!’
- ‘Lovers and Fighters’
- ‘Smitten Sapphires’
- ‘Lovestruck Loontern’
- ‘Hound at the Speed of Sound’
Once you have both characters unlocked, set them as both of your characters and the achievement will unlock.

Ace the Bat-Hound is unlocked by completing both of his missions in the Batcave and can then be purchased for 25,000 studs. Krypto's first mission appears after completing all of Green Loontern's missions on Zamaron, which you can't do until after finishing Chapter 15. After completing his mission, you can purchase Krypto for 65,000 studs.
Once you have unlocked both of the Super Pets, set them as both of your characters and the trophy will unlock.
