) go to extras and enter the code Bane- XZKLKQ it will unlock him and in freeplay / batcave etc... hold (
) for the character select and bane is at the very end at the top right.
Select Bane then hold () to transform into Bane (Venom-Powered) along with achievement.

Do putting in cheats mess with other achievements in the game, like how some games if you use cheat codes you won't be able to unlock achievements unless you turn cheats off or load the game back up again

No it won't mess with any achievements gains. You can use them and still attain achievements.
