To earn this achievement, you need to explore one of the Lantern hub worlds, find a hidden doughnut, and smash it. They're very thin doughnuts, shaped more like person-sized life preservers, and have somewhat googly eyes. They're also wearing costumes in a further (but futile) effort to be more hidden.
There are seven Lantern worlds in all (though one of them doesn't count for this achievement). You only need to smash one doughnut to win the achievement. The hub worlds and doughnut locations are as follows (tucked inside spoiler sections in case you want to challenge yourself with them):
Zamaron (violet/love): It looks pink to me...
Coming out of the portal, turn right and follow the path to a large, open area. Look for the double hill in front of you, and take the path just left of this hill. You'll come to a patch of crystal spikes; take a right there. Immediately, you'll see a small hill with flat rocks piled up on it like a roof. Behind and to the right of this is another rocky hill. The doughnut is on top by another patch of crystals.
This doughnut is wearing a mortarboard (graduation hat) and holding a diploma. He's black on top and light on the bottom. This is the only doughnut without a moustache.
Odym (blue/hope):
When you exit the portal, turn around and fly over it towards the crashed Reach ship. Pass the ship, going around the right side. Just ahead, you should see a small rock arch next to a tiered building (it has two targets on top). Land in front of this building by the two braziers (fire pots). Follow the land ahead, and you'll see a small hut. Smash the door, and inside is the hopeful doughnut.
This guy has a droopy moustache, a traditional conical hat, and a hand-held fan.
Nok (indigo/compassion):
When you exit the portal, take a sharp right and go past the trees. You should see a temple ahead and a bit to the right. In front of the temple is a stone stairway down into the ground. Go in. The walls in here are lined with jail cells. On the right side, in the top row, the second cell holds your target pastry.
This doughnut is dressed as a cowboy, with a stetson (cowboy hat) and revolvers, and has a droopy moustache.
Ysmault (red/rage):
Upon arriving through the portal, take the left path ahead of you until you see a large stone building above you on the left. Behind it and to the right are two more buildings with a ramp between their roofs. The third building has a breakable wall at ground level on the right side. Inside is Ysmault's doughnut.
This one is wearing a black knit cap and holding a black bag. Maybe he's a burglar. He has a straight black moustache. He's half-white and half-black, like Two-Face's suit.
Okaara (orange/greed):
When you arrive on Okaara, turn around to face the portal, then fly up and over it. You'll see trenches of lava in a clearing ahead, with two paths leading ahead-right and ahead-left. Take the one on the right. Cross the bridge to the large temple and go around the right side of it and the large pointy rock outcropping. Behind the big pointy rock is a small island; look behind the island. The doughnut is waiting there for you among the rocks on the shore of the lake.
The Okaara doughnut is wearing a gray fedora and holding a violin case; maybe he's dressed as a mobster. His top half is gray and he has a pointed gray moustache.
Qward (yellow/fear):
From the portal, turn left. Fly over a short bridge and small tower. Attached to the back of that tower is a long, narrow bridge that leads to a cathedral-like building with no roof. It has five towers: two at the front corners, two on the sides, and one at the rear point. (The bridge connects at the front-right tower.) The doughnut is on top of the second tower on the right.
This doughy fellow is wearing a top hat and um... TWO moustaches. One is long and sticks out past his sides, and the other is just long and slightly down-curved. He's also wearing a monocle on his left eye.
Oa (green/will):
Coming out of the portal, turn around to face it. Ahead to the left is a long stone archway. Fly up until you're just above the second large hole in it. Then fly forwards, past the hole. You should see the doughnut on top of the arch, between a couple of the spikes on top.
This one does not count towards the achievement. The achievement description really ought to clarify that you need to smash a doughnut on one of the Lantern hub worlds that you visit during the story.
The doughnut is wearing a top hat and monocle, and has a double moustache like the Qward guy.
There is also a doughnut hidden inside the Shooting Range 1 VR mission, but this is not on a Lantern hub world and, as such, it also does not count.
And yes, I found all of them on my own, without looking them up in a guide—I challenged myself to do so!
