How to unlock the Steel Surfer achievement in LEGO CITY Undercover - Definitive Guide

This achievement can be obtained from the very start of the game!

Just jump on a car (I've found that short cars with roofs work best) and as soon as the car starts moving, your character will start to balance on one leg and start to wobble. It is very simple to stay on as you literally have to do nothing else. You could even put your controller down and take a nice 30 second rest!

Is it hoofs or hooves? Is it roofs or rooves? Yeah, I may be older than LEGO minifigs but I still enjoy these games, lol.

I can't get this achievement to pop - do you have to have a specific disguise on? I'm balanced on a car for nearly 5 minutes now!!!

If you wear a policeman's disguise then the civilian cars won't move - the drivers are scared of you. You either need to change disguise or jump on a police car as in the video.

This can be done without having to ride a moving vehicle. I was seeing if I could use my police vehicle to jump to a higher spot (you cannot) but was balanced on the back right end of the car. Chase was on one foot. I was distracted and left the character there only to hear the achievement pop sound. When I checked, it was our car surfing achievement!

Stop a car, jump on it and after he stand on just one leg wait 30 seconds.

Stupid translation of the trophy - you just need to jump onto a moving (or stationary) car and stand on it for 30 seconds (the character will balance on one leg while waving his arms)

You can simply stand in any car with a driver (you can even arrange a traffic jam for simplicity) and wait for the trophy.
