How to unlock the Hit the Jackpot achievement in LEGO DC Super-Villains - Definitive Guide
I got this without even trying really, but in Solovar's Throne section of "Con-Grodd-ulations," a few minutes in (after destroying only one piston in the top left corner - a bunch of monkeys come piling in - as The Joker just keep pressing (B) or whatever button your console uses to perform bonus attack (like how the Joker gives the enemy a jokey present and they open it and get thrown to the sky. There should be enough monkeys coming in that if you keep doing this trick, hopefully your multiplier stays up and keeps going to 10. Since you can replay this in free play, the amount of monkeys piling in should be the same every time you play it, so keep trying. Good luck!

Yeah that section of that level is a great way to get the achievement, worked perfectly! I was able to do it in the regular story, didn't even have to do it in Free Play!

I personally did this during level 11 ”Apokolips, Wow”
As soon as you hit the x10 multiplier you’ll hear that magic pop, achievement unlocked.
Congratulations!
Happy Hunting
A Few Other Locations
Hub quest Planti - Social once you reach the last section of enemies to kill.
Level 12 - Boss Fight Section This is against Kalibak & his T - Rex Mech just keep & hitting the waves of his enemies attacking you. Then you can hit him as well if struggling for time/enemies to spawn in but do not kill him before you get your x10.

What makes the counter go up? It seems finicky, and oftentimes hitting the enemies does nothing for the counter.

Yeah, I just picked you the achievement during Apokalypse, Wow!. The combat multiplier slowly ticked up to 10, but fortunately there were more than enough enemies to get to 10. (I killed like three times as many I think.) But, anyway, thanks for the quick reply.

To obtain x10 combat multiplier, you need to hit a group of enemies with and keep the multiplier going. There will be many opportunities to earn this, provided there is a steady stream of enemies. A good place to get this is during Level 5, ‘Arkham Barely Believe It’ when you’re freeing Solomon Grundy or early on in Level 6, 'Con-Grodd-ulations'.
