How to unlock the People come along and break them achievement in LEGO Dimensions - Definitive Guide
Note: I haven't started the Doctor Who pack yet, which is sitting on my floor right now, but the coin farming method is the same since it has nothing to do with the actual Doctor Who pack.
For coin farming, and for getting the 2x red brick...
As stated, go to the LOTR world with Gandalf, hop in the Batmobile and chase down the red brick. You'll have to purchase it at the main portal in the home world (I had a hard time figuring that out because I put the game down for a few months, so if you forget, that's where you have to go to upgrade.
My one change is how to grind the million coins to buy the brick. Go to the DC world with Batman, but stay in the car and blow up every car you see. Shooting the cars with the Batmobile really helps so that the cars give coins by the time you get there (less time circling).
Cars this way seem to give a boatload more coins this way. There are a lot just in the level. Make sure to use the jump pad to get in the parking garage, and go to the parking lot by the cathedral. Then go to the asylum, down the stairs, and use the Batmobile again to blow up all of the beds, cells and everything in the back. When you're done, go back to the hub world and repeat.
I got about 100k-200k or so each time. Your mileage may vary, but the stud were absolutely flying in every time I blew up a car.

When you go back and forth in time zones, studs all repopulate. Going back and forth can net you a ton.
To achieve the "Rule Breaker" stud goal, which is 245,000 studs in the level, you have to collect as many studs as you can during the level. Once you hit the goal, the bar at the top of your screen will flash a full bar of gold studs. It's easier to get this achievement while having the x2 multiplier stud active to achieve the goal faster.
This trophy requires that you gather 245,000 studs within this level. The trophy will immediately pop as soon as you cross this threshold; you are not required to finish the level with this amount (or finish the level at all for that matter). If you are having trouble with this trophy there are two things you can try:
- Turn on the Dwarf's Bounty red brick which will double all studs that you receive. When enabled you will visually see a x2 displayed in the upper left quadrant of your active screen at all times.
- Every time that you use TARDIS to travel back and forth between times and locations, the studs within are reset. This means you can go back and forth as many times as you want collecting the same studs over and over again.
