How to unlock the Hogwarts has Changed achievement in LEGO Harry Potter Collection - Definitive Guide

In the original 360 version, you had to do this during the first part of year 7, from the tent on the hill where you use the map - if you went to year 8, you had to start a new game to get this one. The good news is, that has been fixed!

The first chance to get it is after you escape the Ministry of Magic by running from the dementors during the chapter 7 story. The change for the Collection version is that now it also seems to come naturally while playing the story for year 8. After beating the level "Back to School", when you're following the ghost to the next level, you should end up in the lobby and the achievement should pop before you go up the stairs on the right.

I wouldn't recommend missing this one just incase. Get it on your normal play through.

In the case it doesn't work the first time after finishing back to school, restart the game and it'll throw you right there and give it to you

You can earn this even earlier than the solution states. As soon as you finish escaping from the Ministry of Magic in "Magic is Might", enter the tent. Use the Marauder's Map on the table and you will be sent straight to Hogwarts.

During year 7 and after completing the 2nd mission "Magic is Might" go into the tent, on the left hand side is a table with the Marauders map on it, go up to it press  and you will be transported to Hogwarts and be playing as Ginny, the achievement will then unlock.

NOTE: You must complete this before you start the mission "DOBBY!" otherwise you will have to start the game again.
