How to unlock the Another Gold Brick in the Wall achievement in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 - Definitive Guide

There are 255 Gold Bricks throughout the game.

Gold bricks are awarded for the following:

Complete each story level and Gwenpool mission (30 bricks)
Obtain ‘True Believer’ in each story level and Gwenpool mission (30 bricks)
Rescue Stan Lee in every story level, Gwenpool mission and Chronopolis (50 bricks)
Collect 10 minikits in each story level (20 bricks)
Found in Chronopolis (125 bricks)

The DLC bricks do count, apparently. Im at 100%, all characters and vehicles collected, yet no achievement. Once i deleted the DLC and reloaded the game, played a level and gathered some studs, then saved and quit to chronopolis, it popped right away.

Thank you @NannerLoaf for the tip about Attilan. I don't know if I missed this last one for not seeing it earlier or it only appeared after I finished other challenges. My last one was one gold brick at the center of Attilan, where you need to use Miss Marvel to push a plug, destroy a circuit, break a wall and turn off a shield. Then you need to turn off an eletric field using any character.

okay so, definitely dlc mess up with achievements, i had the
true believer
gweenpool
golden bricks
characters

bugged but after uninstaling the dlc and playing a level and saving back to chronopolis all popped at the same time.

i have all 279 (base+dlc) it didn't pop, i tried the grab stud and exit method, no success. how this achievement don't have buggy flag?

Update: I actually did get the cheevo, just unstall the dlc, do again the stud and exit method, even if do all gold bricks on dlc, somehow they are messing with cheevo trigger

In my case (not counting DLC), I missed one in Egypt. 2 puzzles icons were in almost the same place. This particular one required a Chi user. Not sure how I missed it, unless it came after completing the game. I assume clearing the DLC will pop this, but I'm sure I read that DLC isn't allowed to interfere with base game achievements...who knows with M$ these days.

EDIT: The achievements for:
Purchase all characters
Collected all Gold Bricks
True Believer in every level

All popped after completing the main game 100%, and doing the Awesome Mix Vol. 2 DLC. I assume any DLC stage would do the same, but here you go :P

There are 255 Gold Bricks total. You get one for doing pretty much anything in the game. There are 4 per story mission (1 for beating the level, 1 for getting True Believer, 1 for getting 10 minikits and 1 for saving Stan Lee). Each Gwenpool mission has 3 to collect. Between the two, you'll receive 110 Gold bricks for getting the missions done. That leaves 145 scattered around Chronopolis, of which you'll get 1 for completing most activities.

Note: Gold Bricks collected in DLC missions do not count towards this achievement. If this does not unlock after collecting all 255 Gold Bricks in the base game, load up any base game mission in Free Play and when it starts, exit and save the level so the results screen appears. The achievement then should unlock.
